"When the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." - Benjamin Franklin;
"And when politicians find that honor and character matter less than buying votes and a constituency, that too will herald the end of the Constitution. When that happens we must work tirelessly to change their minds, or their occupation!" - Hoping The Blind Will See

America Was Not Built On Economic Parity

How did America become the strongest country in the world? How did she become the richest country in the world? And how has she been able to be the most compassionate nation on earth? Many of you would say hard work. Some would say luck. Some might say through military might. Still fewer would say world oppression for our own gain. But the bottom line is that free market enterprise, which drives men and women to heights never reached before because of the potential reward that can be realized, has been the driving force that answers all three of those questions. If you take that 'pot at the end of the rainbow' away, Americans will have no motivation to succeed. So, as Barack Obama continues to drive us down the path of socialism, and continues his dream of redistributed wealth, look to the future. How will we remain the strongest country in the world? How will we remain the richest country in the world? And how much compassion will we be able to share with other countries around the world when need requires it? If you can't find a concrete answer to those questions, then you need to think long and hard about the road we're on. If you can find concrete answers, share them here with us; we'd be very interested. But rest assured, America was not built on economic parity, and in every nation where that has been attempted - that nation has ultimately failed to maintain liberty and freedom. So what say you America? Wake Up!!
