"When the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." - Benjamin Franklin;
"And when politicians find that honor and character matter less than buying votes and a constituency, that too will herald the end of the Constitution. When that happens we must work tirelessly to change their minds, or their occupation!" - Hoping The Blind Will See

Since When...?

I've read and reread "The Pocket Patriot" - which is both the Constitution of the United States and The Declaration of Independence in one small book. I've searched through every passage contained in those two documents. Nowhere did I find that the Agenda and/or Ambitions of the President supersede the will of the people. Nowhere could I find that the ambition to "Define My Presidency" supersedes the will of the people. I just didn't see it anywhere. Did I miss it in there? Nope, didn't think so. So where does Obama get off pushing health care reform that is not acceptable to the citizens of the Republic? Where does he get off dividing the country through class envy, as well as political, religious and racial division, to accomplish his agenda? Where does he get off socializing America through progressive reforms? Why aren't Americans more upset with this guy? Wake Up America!
