When Will They Listen?

In April grass-roots Americans took to the streets in the Tea Party Movement in protest of taxes and excessive spending. Our Government did not listen. In May and June grass-roots Americans began emailing, calling and writing their Senators and Representatives. Our Government did not listen. In July more "Tea Parties" were held in an attempt to make our voices heard. Our Government did not listen. In August Thousands, perhaps millions of Americans attended Town Hall meetings in an attempt to be heard. Our Government did not listen. In September, Upwards of a Million Americans marched on Washington, again imploring our government to hear our concerns. Our Government did not listen. Throughout these 6 months, patriotic Americans have been labeled as Mobs, AstroTurf, Nazi's, kooks, extremists, and dismissed derisively by those people we elected to the Government. And while they won't listen to us, rest assured we have listened to them! And we are coming! But I have another thought as well. Perhaps if our Government got their collective heads out of their backsides they could hear us! What do you think? Wake Up America!
