"When the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." - Benjamin Franklin;
"And when politicians find that honor and character matter less than buying votes and a constituency, that too will herald the end of the Constitution. When that happens we must work tirelessly to change their minds, or their occupation!" - Hoping The Blind Will See

Hypocrites!

Many years ago laws were passed to prohibit prayer in school. Today, a northern Florida school principal and an athletic director are facing criminal charges and up to six months in jail over their offer of a mealtime blessing. Recently there has been talk about removing the word "God" from our currency. "Under God" has been removed from many iterations of The Pledge of Allegiance. All this because the ACLU, you know that organization looking out for your best interests (ROFL), and the radical left progressive agenda has worked tirelessly to convince you that those things conflict with the establishment of the "church and state tenant", despite the fact that the 1st Amendment specifically states " Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech...". So how is it possible that President Obama himself is initiating a meeting with certain religious leaders to coerce them to get actively involved in 'persuading' their membership to support health care reform. Why doesn't that violate the same "church and state tenant" that the ACLU has railed against for years? Where is the voice of the ACLU today? Where's their outrage? Non-existent, because we have two America's here, the fact to which people are finally waking up. We have the Progressives - who are loud, and insulting, and demeaning, and arrogant, and self-serving, and use bully tactics at every opportunity, and then we have the rest of America - all those center-right people, good hard-working, non-victim status people who for years have silently tried to get along with the progressives. Unfortunately, despite all their rhetoric, the only thing I see from the radical left progressives, led by the ACLU in this case, is the hypocrisy! It's not acceptable to me any longer. And I see more and more that it's not acceptable to the American people who want their country back. It's time to change the direction of America! Stay Awake America!!!
