"When the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." - Benjamin Franklin;
"And when politicians find that honor and character matter less than buying votes and a constituency, that too will herald the end of the Constitution. When that happens we must work tirelessly to change their minds, or their occupation!" - Hoping The Blind Will See

The New Mantra Out Of Washington - "Let's Work Together"

It's already all over the news. Democrat pundits saying things like "after the election, let's put the vitriol away and work together." Or obama saying today that the Republicans don't want to work with the Democrats. Even Juan Williams said today that come January there will be gridlock in Washington. And he claimed that Joe Biden said "it will be war" referring to the next two years in Washington if the Republicans won't work with them.

Let's be perfectly clear. We are sending people to Washington who will NOT work with the establishment, unless the establishment is willing to work towards smaller government, eliminating entitlement programs and doing nothing, usurping no authority, not expressly contained within the Constitution. It's that simple.

So strap on your seat belts, put on your helmets. Joe Biden is right, we are at war with government. We are at war with the "rule of man" over the "rule of law". We are at war with socialism and programs and policies that will lead us down that road. And when at war, we do not "work" with the enemy. Just as they did not work with us during town hall meetings. Just as they did not "work" with us as we tried to get our message of smaller government across to them during thousands of Tea Party events. Just as they did not work with us when they scoffed "who has time to read the bill, and what good would it do?"

Work together? Are they out of their minds? I don't want to see ANY newly elected politician walk the establishment line. I want them to walk the Constitutional line. If it can pass the Constitution test, we'll work on it. If it can't, sorry, you're out of luck. If that shuts down the government, so be it. We want control of the government back where it should be - with the people, not the elitists. We have decades of unconstitutional law and unconstitutional programs to unravel, dismantle, phase out, and eliminate.

Rest in peace, Big Government. Your run was legendary, but it's over. Can you say bye, bye?

  1. Completely tin-eared, out of touch, or in denial. Take your pick. The LAST thing I want any republican, newly-elected or not, to do is run to DC and jump up BO's . . . erm, I mean, climb in his hip pocket. NO compromise, no deals, no pork bribes, no working with ANY aspect of that lunatic's socialist vision for the "fundamental transformation" of America. That ends. Now. Republicans better get a clue, because we could care less who is doing the spending and expanding government. They should have learned that in 2006, and hopefully, they did. But if not, out they go, too. America first. Bribes, pork, wheeling and dealing, compromising with madmen and fools . . . over. Stay the party of HELL NO or out you go. Heh, that should be our new mantra. :p

  2. The Tea Party is AMERICA. The Tea Party is not really the Republican Party (in the RINO sense) and either politicians do the correct thing and reduce the size of government and repudiate the socialist Obama agenda -- or they can look for new jobs. We are seeing a situation where America is self-mobilizing and the results will speak for themselves.
