"When the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." - Benjamin Franklin;
"And when politicians find that honor and character matter less than buying votes and a constituency, that too will herald the end of the Constitution. When that happens we must work tirelessly to change their minds, or their occupation!" - Hoping The Blind Will See

I Deem...

Seeing that the Democrats have opened this door, I deem that all entitlement programs are irresponsible and are restrictive towards those they claim to help, and are thus void. Let the family structure, the church, the community and then the American people, not the American government, take care of their own.

I deem that God is the focus of our culture, of our Constitution and of our Freedom. As such, I further deem that He will NOT be barred from our schools, our government buildings, our workplaces, our speech, our literature or our lives! In God We Trust!

I deem that abortion, regardless of any "convenient truth" you might believe, is murder - pure and simple. Here's the definition: Abortion is the termination of a pregnancy by the removal or expulsion from the uterus of a fetus or embryo, resulting in (or caused by) its death. Sounds like murder to me.

I deem that the Constitution is not a living document, but rather a sturdy foundation that is immovable, upon which our government was built. The minute it became a living, movable document, the cracks began to erode it's stability. I deem we return to our foundation.

I deem that we are "one nation under God", that people from other cultures who wish to migrate here must do so legally, and must also embrace our culture and our language. Otherwise, the fragmentation of our society is too great.

I deem, for the same purpose as that listed above, that the official language of America is english, and that there will be no more "press 1" statements in our automated menus.

I deem that the Constitution and the Bill of Rights are the highest authorities regarding our rights, and that the Constituion is NOT a document of negative liberties. It is our lifeblood!

I deem that the Government can not spend more money that it takes in - ever! That it must always have a balanced budget, that EVERY item is included in the budget, that there is one set of "books", and that the government never run a deficit.

There are other things that we could "deem" as well. But let's start with these...

God Help Us All America! We're Going To Need It.
Let's Go, There's Lots Of Work To Do!
