"When the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." - Benjamin Franklin;
"And when politicians find that honor and character matter less than buying votes and a constituency, that too will herald the end of the Constitution. When that happens we must work tirelessly to change their minds, or their occupation!" - Hoping The Blind Will See

Political Earthquake Hits Massachusetts

In a stunning upset, and in true political drama, Scott Brown was swept into office by Republicans, Independents, and yes, even some Democrats on Tuesday! The message is clear. We the people OWN the Senate. Not the Senators who occupy a seat there, not the lobbyists who spend billions of dollars there, Not Harry Reid, and no President - particularly this one. We have witnessed the power of the people in action - perhaps for the first time in my lifetime - and I for one am feeling mighty fine about being part of "we the people" and wielding that power.

Now I can say, NEVER have I been so proud of my country. The Massachusetts results are just another step we have taken in our efforts to take our country back. I imagine we will see significant back-pedalling from some of our elected officials. Remember what they have done in the past. Don't allow them to hide in sheep's clothing. They are still part of the problem, even if they attempt to change (or hide) their stripes.

Thank you Massachusetts for doing the right thing for America!

  1. It almost (ALMOST!) amkes me wish I lived back in MA again! So proud and THANKFUL for this win!

  2. LOL, I wouldn't go that far! They still have a huge tax burden, Barney Frank, John Kerry, Patrick Duval and COLD weather!!! I would visit, however, for the fresh seafood!!!!

  3. I am proud to be able to have voted yesterday!!! WOOHOOO we were heard!!!! Now lets keep this "truck" moving ahead!!!!!!

  4. I'm with you, keep your hand on the air horn, we're moving forward!
