"When the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." - Benjamin Franklin;
"And when politicians find that honor and character matter less than buying votes and a constituency, that too will herald the end of the Constitution. When that happens we must work tirelessly to change their minds, or their occupation!" - Hoping The Blind Will See

Impending Crusades?

The recent events that occurred in Ft Hood placed into context with events that have occurred here in America, as well as with those occurring around the globe, since 9/11, have led me to contemplate this question.

History shows us that the original Crusades began after the Turks (who happened to be Muslim) conquered the Holy Lands and mistreated Christians back in the 1070's. Several years later, Pope Urban II called for Christian Knights to take back Jerusalem during a speech at the Council of Clermont. History is vague, but the crusades officially ended in 1295 after 200 years of war, but additional "crusades" actually were conducted for the next 500 years.

So is it possible that the current activity of the Muslim fanatics could usher in a new age of "Crusades" at some point down the historical time line? If it happened once, why couldn't it happen again? Has that already started in Iraq and Afghanistan? If not, how long will it be before God fearing people around the world have had enough and start fighting back against this radical religion steeped in thousands of years of hatred?

As witnessed here in America, it takes a long time to push any group to the point where response is favorable to apathy. But that's what's happened since the Obama administration took office and started pushing their socialist agenda. Can the same fate await Radical Muslim Jihadists, and by extension, all Muslims because of the actions of the jihadists?

I think, sooner or later, there will be blow-back. I just hope it happens soon enough to prevent a Muslim take over of the world because society in every major country was too concerned with political correctness to take the necessary action to protect their culture and their way of life.

We are truly in strange and historic times. What will the history books say about the societies of today? Will there even be history books? If there are, I hope they depict a flattering account of patriotism around the globe, but what I fear is they will only depict an account of the demise of world individualism. Sad...

Wake Up America!
