"When the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." - Benjamin Franklin;
"And when politicians find that honor and character matter less than buying votes and a constituency, that too will herald the end of the Constitution. When that happens we must work tirelessly to change their minds, or their occupation!" - Hoping The Blind Will See

What Do You Believe?

In the not too distant future, each of us will be required to take a side. None of us will be able to sit on the fence, because the events that are coming will not allow it. So the time is upon us to decide what we believe. Do you believe that each American has personal responsibility for their lives; that each American can strive diligently for a better life than their parents based upon their own skill, drive, self-motivation, and work ethic? Or do you believe that each American has the personal responsibility to ensure that every American has the same achievement level as every other American, and that the best way to accomplish that is through government entitlement programs? Do you believe that Americans have the right to Liberty and Freedom? Or do you believe that all Americans have a right to social equality (socialism)? The two are not compatible. Do you believe that there is a Creator, and our rights come directly from Him? Or do you believe that our rights come from the government, and from some social agenda? Do you believe that God is written on our government buildings, and our courts, and thus should be part of our heritage and our learning in school? Or do you believe that God should be an outcast from society except in church on Sunday? Do you believe that merit, qualification, work ethic, and self motivation should dictate who succeeds in life? Or do you believe that American life should be handicapped (like golf) to make the playing field more equal for everyone (and advantageous for some who would otherwise not be competitive)? Do you believe in competition and free market principles? Or do you believe that it is only fair if no one loses, and prices/costs are engineered by the government, not supply and demand? Do you believe that less government is best? Or do you believe in the "nanny" state, where government intrudes into most facets of your life? These are just a few of the questions you need to ask yourself now. Time is running short. What do you believe? Wake Up America!
