You Just Can't Polish A Turd

Congress - both the Senate and the House of Representatives - has been giving off an odiferous stink for decades. It may be much stronger now, but it's been there for a while. The reason? Almost everyone who resides there is a piece of crap. And as long as the rules stay the same, there is little chance of it changing from crap to the golden egg. So here's a fix that will create significant and meaningful change, and get the country back on course. This is how you fix Congress!
The "Congressional Reform Act of 2010".

It would contain eight provisions, all of which would probably be strongly endorsed by those who drafted the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. I know many of you will say, "This is impossible". Let me remind you, Congress has the lowest approval of any entity in Government, now is the time when Americans will join together to reform Congress - the entity that represents us.

Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, serve your
term(s), then go home and back to work.

We need to get a Senator to introduce this bill in the US Senate and a Representative to introduce a similar bill in the US House. These people will become American hero's...

1. Term Limits:
 
12 years only, one of the possible options below.

A. Two Six year Senate terms
B. Six Two year House terms
C. One Six year Senate term and three Two Year House terms

2. No Tenure /No Pension:

A congressman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they are out of office.

3. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security:

All funds in the Congressional retirement fund moves to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, Congress participates with the American people.

4. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan just as all Americans.

5. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise.

Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.

6. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.

7. Congress must equally abide in all laws they impose on the American people.

8. All contracts with past and present congressmen are void effective 1/1/11.

The American people did not make this contract with congressmen, congressmen made all these contracts for themselves.

This suggestion is being circulated on email as well, so millions of Americans will undoubtedly see it. We have witnessed how powerful the voices of the people can be. We delayed Obamacare to the point that it is no longer a viable bill as it is written. We have caused the retirement of many Senators and some Representatives because of the message we've been sending. There is much more to do, but why not start here?

So, what do you think America? Can we get this introduced in Congress? We have a huge opportunity with the 2010 elections to sweep in enough new blood that it's possible. Imagine what that would do for the morale of the country! Imagine what that would do to prevent "congressional special interest" from eroding the integrity of those institutions! Congress voted these things in, so they can be reversed and voted out. Let's get to work on it!

The Power Of God; Do You Believe In Miracles Yet?

I'm not one of those "holier than thou" types, but I do believe in God and I do believe in miracles. You see, I've been personally affected by God's hand at times in my life.

So, do you think he's been watching what's been going on down here? Let's review...

There was the universal call to legislate industry under the guise of Global Warming, ahem, Climate Change. First, the report used to support the contentions of Al Gore et al were found to be manipulated and misrepresented the whole truth. That wasn't enough to expose the hoax and derail the machine, so God, in his infinite wisdom decided to provide a personal demonstration of just how much of a hoax it is by creating a world-wide two week deep freeze. And to put the perverbial cherry on top of the sundae, it has recently been exposed that there have been written reports of polar icecap thawing from nearly 100 years ago - exposing the claim of climate change, an ambiguous term at best, for what it is; part of the cycle of the Earth's life. Unable to be controlled or affected by mankind, or any other life form on earth. The Earth will take care of itself - it has for millions, perhaps billions, of years.

Then, when Americans were being force fed a socialist agenda against their will, and against the Constitution; when Americans were being controlled by a government with a Democratic majority pushing an agressive progressive agenda; when the Senate seat in the bluest of blue states was up for election and held the fate of the Democrat super-majority and no one could see that seat falling to the Republicans (it had been held by a Kennedy since 1952!), God took a hand in matters once again and allowed Scott Brown to come from 30 points down in a month to take the seat, eliminate the super-majority, and derail healthcare in it's current form.

So, in just the last month, we've seen the dramatic hand of God in our lives - exposing the agendas of power-hungry men and women. Men and women who seek fame and fortune, and do so on a foundation of lies.

This is why our Declaration of Independence and our Bill of Rights, and our very formation as a nantion, were founded in God. This is why we need to give God visibility in our lives - in our schools, in our televison programs, in our literture, in our courts and in our government buildings. It's time to take God back out of the closet, time to let Him sit at our table once again. It's time for Americans to be unashamed of their shared belief in God, and unafraid to discuss Him openly. And to fight for His presence in the most basic institutions we have.

He has shown us once again that "We the People" do have a powerful voice, and what we want, we can have. We just need to speak up!

Caution! We're About To Get Caught In The Spin Cycle

Undoubtedly you have been watching the news with rapt attention since Scott Brown won the Massachusetts special election. But have you realized what you have been hearing. Once again the proffessional (your Congressmen and women and the media) spin doctors are throwing around the terms Republican nad Democrat. The Progressives have not thrown in the towel, they are trying to divert our attention from the fact that both Parties contain Progressives. Don't get caught up in that spin! For the past 15 months this fight has been, and must continue to be, about a more Conservative America versus the Progressives. Don't lose sight of that fact no matter what you see or hear.

Here's a good example: John McCain. He has attached his political star to Sarah Palin, who, I must admit, has confounded me with her association with McCain seeing that he is a Progressive Republican clearly on the progressive side of the agenda. And now he has attached his star to Scott Brown. Well, you can't say McCain isn't a survivor - he's been that his whole life. But he is part of the problem, make no mistake about that.

You're also going to see the left start moderating to the right - including Obama. They haven't changed! They are all chameleons, currently wearing the color of survival. Don't be fooled.

You've woken up America, now stay awake! Get up, there's work to do!!

The Obama Experiment; They Still Don't Have A Clue

The Obama administration is still playing the blame game. They can not take responsibility for anything that goes wrong. This was evidenced last when, once again last night, the administration was blaming everyone and everything but themselves for the Coakley loss to Brown. And they still claim that the current problems in this country have nothing to do with them, and everything to do with "the sins of the past" and in particular with the policies of the Bush Administration.

It amazes me, that a group of individuals who are allegedly politically savvy, can not recognize that the anger sweeping the nation has everything to do with them - how fast and how far left they have tried to take this country, the level of arrogance they have demonstrated, the scope of the corruption they have engaged in, and that they have engaged in it as if it were normal.

They will tell you that it's always been that way. And maybe it has been that way for the past 60 years or so, but that doesn't make it right. And just because we were ignorant of the fact that it was going on, does not mean we condone the behavior. We are woefully aware now, and we will not put up with it any longer. We do not trust "politics as usual" - never mind leftist, socialist politics. We are looking for honorable Americans, who have character, integrity and a vision to re-establish our greatness. We are not looking for change for the sake of change. We are not looking for anyone who would consciously and willfully diminish our greatness.

The Obama Experiment has ended. His attempt to socialize this nation, and to re-distribute wealth to those who have not earned it - whether in this country or abroad - is coming to an end. Obama, and his administration, still do not have a clue. They can not transition from a machine geared towards socializing America to a unit that will create new greatness for America. It's not who they are. It's not what they believe. It's not what they want. But if they try to snow us into believing that it is, they will come off as hollow and insincere. Stay focused America. Stay vigilant. Most politicians in Washington are NOT our friends, regardless of what they will pretend to believe from this point out. Research your individual Senators and Representatives. See how they have voted in the past. Progressives from EVERY party must be voted out of any position of power.

Political Earthquake Hits Massachusetts

In a stunning upset, and in true political drama, Scott Brown was swept into office by Republicans, Independents, and yes, even some Democrats on Tuesday! The message is clear. We the people OWN the Senate. Not the Senators who occupy a seat there, not the lobbyists who spend billions of dollars there, Not Harry Reid, and no President - particularly this one. We have witnessed the power of the people in action - perhaps for the first time in my lifetime - and I for one am feeling mighty fine about being part of "we the people" and wielding that power.

Now I can say, NEVER have I been so proud of my country. The Massachusetts results are just another step we have taken in our efforts to take our country back. I imagine we will see significant back-pedalling from some of our elected officials. Remember what they have done in the past. Don't allow them to hide in sheep's clothing. They are still part of the problem, even if they attempt to change (or hide) their stripes.

Thank you Massachusetts for doing the right thing for America!

Come On Massachusetts!

Twelve hours from now we will know the fate of the Obama Administration. If Scott Brown gets elected, it will largely derail the Democratic juggernaut that has been trying to steam roll over us for the past 12 months. It is so satisfying to see so many Americans engaged politically now. If nothing else, Obama was instumental in bringing about THAT change. Go Massachusetts!

I personally know registered Democrats who will NOT vote for Coakley - they'll be voting for Brown. That's amazing coming from the People's Republic of Massachusetts - arguably the most liberal state in America. Here's some recent polling data that puts Brown in the lead...

Brown leads Coakley 94 percent to 1 percent among registered Republicans and he leads 58 percent to 37 percent among unenrolled voters. Brown leads 54 percent to 39 percent among men while Coakley leads 50 percent to 44 percent among women. The Last Poll

Well the poll results are in. Of the 11 choices offered to the question "Which of these actions do you support for America?" the three with the highest scores were: 1. Take aggressive action to reclaim our government, our culture and our history. This answer got the most votes. It was followed closely by these two answers: 2. Reduce taxes. 3. Stop spending money at the Federal level.

It's encouraging to me that there are people out there who are contemplating the possible need for aggressive action. To me, that means people are weary and distrustful of what this Administration is doing, and that they are concerned that the Constitution is being abandoned, while at the same time, they recognize that an erosion of their liberty is in the works. In a way, I am thankful that Barack Obama was elected now instead of John McCain. Obama's aggressive Progressive push towards socialism has woken up a huge segment of America who would otherwise still be asleep - even as John McCain continued the slower walk down the same Progressive path.

Great Job America!

The Brainwashing Of A Nation

This from a former Soviet KGB agent, trained in subversive propaganda. Demoralization, Destabilization, Crisis, Normalization; these are the steps used to "transform" a nation. Ever hear that word before?

In America, the process of demoralizing the country has been working for the past 45 years - in fact, all those "social programs" created to benefit the American people are actually designed to demoralize specific segments of the population. Those recieving aid are demoralized because they feel no control over their lives. And those paying for those programs become demoralized because they see a growing population of "freeloaders". We're in the destabilization process now - the housing bubble, the banking crisis, the devaluation of the dollar, government take-over of private business, strong division between the liberals and conservatives with NO attempt to bridge the two. And we're heading quickly into "Crisis" mode - hyper-inflation, wholesale personnel changes in Congress, a growing "big brother" government, global warming, increased taxes and oil prices to name a few. What will the normalization process look like to us? What will it mean for us? Will we even recognize the America we'll become? This is scary, scary stuff - and it's real! Wake Up America!

How Did We Survive?

We started out by traveling across the ocean for a better life - a life removed from tyrannical government that would not listen to our voices, no matter how often or how loudly we spoke. And we survived the journey! We survived the Revolution, and over time created a life of our own, and then a country, and then a government. All three were possible because of God's Grace; and yes we believed! And we survived! And in the process we created the finest government in history, and defined that government when we wrote The Constitution of the United States of America! We survived the Indian Wars, the Civil War, and the war of 1812. Life was tough, but we relied on God, weren't afraid of, or adverse to, working hard; it was expected - both by our neighbors and ourselves.  And we built our lives and our country - and we survived. We fought in WWI and survived. We became the greatest nation on earth! We embraced the Golden Age of the 20's, and ushered in the Crash of 1929. And through it all we survived. But that was before...

That was before Progressivism wormed it's way into America.

And so now we are a different America. Oh sure, we survived the attack on Pearl Harbor, WWII, the Korean and Vietnam Wars, the Civil Rights Movement, the Cold War, The Gulf War, the attack on The World Trade Center and even 9/11. But during the past 60 years there has been a religious and moral erosion in America that's taken it's toll on us, even as the events that dramatically impact our country come quicker, with shorter and shorter intervals between each.  And we've been programmed to diminish God's importance in our lives. Now we only look to God when we are afraid. Well that's not going to allow us to survive any longer.

We survived the first 150 years of our existence because of our faith, not despite it. But if you analyzed today against 1925, you'd find a far different population in America. Different values, different personal responsibility expectations, different work ethics, different principles, different expectations of our neighbors, a different government role. And you'd find a far different emphasis on God.

So when you ask yourself "how did we ever survive?" look no further than God. And when you ask yourself "Will we continue to survive?" ask yourself "Where is God now?" That should give you the answer...

Global Warming? Geez, Really?

Ok, hmmm, God's got a sense of humor doesn't he? I guess He heard about the Global Warming debate, and wanted to share his 2 cents worth with us. Here I sit in Florida in 20+ degree weather for the past week, and a warmup not predicted for another week. The midwest is under deathly cold temperatures. Texas and other deep south states are freezing! China has seen it's highest snowfall in decades. Europe is under a deep feeze. It goes on and on around the world. Do you think He's trying to tell us something? Al Gore, are you religious? I mean other than religiously lying about Global Warming? I'd say you need to pray to God that no one publicly humiliates you for your blatant stand on global warming; especially since it was designed to fill your pockets with gold - now there's an inconvenient truth!

A Couple Of Thoughts

Given the fact that America has a national debt of over $12 Trillion dollars (That's 12,000,000 million dollars, for those of you from Rio Linda), can someone explain to me why the Federal Government is providing free cell phones to people in America who can't afford them? Do most of you recall not having a cell phone earlier in your lives? Did we manage? Yep, sure did. And yet the Government has seen fit to spend over $1 billion dollars on this program and the cost is still going up! What's with that? I don't have an iPod; think I'm on a Government list to receive one? What about a Flip Movie Camera - I don't have one of those either, but I'd like one. Uncle Sam, are you listening? You missed me this Christmas, but maybe you could remember next year? Oh, and Uncle Sam, I could use an F-150 pick-up truck, that would come in handy and I don't have one of those either.


Secondly, also given the debt we are racking up, can someone explain why we are less concerned with our own well being as a country, and more concerned with all the other countries around the world? In 2009 we shelled out over $64 billion dollars to over 82 countries, including Russia, Iraq and Afghanistan!!! Historical data shows that we provided less than $8 billion dollars in foreign aid in 1980. Government data shows that amount rose to $31 billion during the Clinton years culminating in 2000, and continued to increase during the Bush years to over $64 billion dollars! And Obama has pledged to double our foreign aid by the end of his 1st term in office. That's big of him, considering it's our dime he's spending!

Why wouldn't we be taking care of America first? Is ALL this money being spent in our best interests? Hmmm, think some may be ending up in the wrong hands, or be used for the wrong reasons. How much is being used to by the recipients ultimately to subvert us?

I say, Stop The Insanity! Let's take care of our own house first, and then worry about everyone else's. Balance the budget - and ensure that budget includes every item that can be assigned cost (that's not happening now, the government has two sets of books! Convenient, isn't it?).

Do You Think We Have The Stomach, Or Even The Will, To Defeat This?

The first video is pretty long. It depicts disturbing video of the indocrination and desensitizing of young Muslim Islamic boys (from an age of about 1 year). This is the next wave (and it's huge) of the mujahideen. This is not some "fringe element", this is Islam Jihadism! It is a world-wide movement, and may already be unstoppable. The elders have nothing to do day after day after day after day after day but to teach the art of war. The young boys are expected to learn that art from the time they learn to breathe and eat. And you have to admit, that what they can do by the time they are mid-teens is impressive. What are we prepared to do? By the time their training is complete, life holds no reverence for them - neither their own, nor anyone else's. They do not fear death, or the process of being killed. This is a culture foriegn to Americans, a culture of violence, and one that uses guns (and other weapons and fighting techniques) as extensions of their bodies. (As an aside, it is perplexing after watching this video, that many American officials still espouse "gun control" in America. These people, even the young ones, don't seem to be killing each other despite the fact that they have and use guns from a very early age). How many decades (or just years?) before this comes to America, and we're fighting this battle in our streets? There are already jihadist camps in America - one is in upstate New York. And no-one seems to be all that concerned. Maybe they should watch this video.

We are not talking about "extremists" any longer, this is a way of life for millions of young boys. When they come, and they will, it will be like swarms of locusts - devouring everything in their path. Can Americans pull the trigger against a 7 year old boy? What about an army of "boys"? Can we even wrap our heads around that reality? But that is what it will most likely take to stop the spread of this Islamic Jihadist cancer. And if we don't do that, we will have to face an army of fighting machines, who will not stop fighting or moving until they are dead - and we'll lose a lot of American lives in the process. The minds and bodies of these kids have been stolen, and they are nothing now but zombies who grow up to be future Bin Ladens (and much, much worse). As sad and tough as it is for Americans to think and accept, if we are to win this war, if we are to survive, we must eliminate the children. Maybe that's why Obama, in his naivete, has decided to present an "olive branch" to the Islamic world. But if these videos demostrate nothing else, they show that these people are hardened warriors, and respect nothing but strength. Obama, and all of America actually, is on the wrong path.









Wake Up America, Before It's Too Late!

The Climate Intelligence Agency

Once again our Commander Without A Clue has stepped in it. This time he is taking valuable CIA resources and using them to study Climate Change. You may have heard about the news article from October 10, 1922 regarding "climate change". If not, you can find it here:

This clearly indicates, as I've been saying, that the climate is ever changing and that climate change is cyclical. The periods of warmth are most likely associated with sunspot "seasons" on the sun, and the strength and duration and size of those sunspots. But it could also just be the Earth's maintenance process.

So why then would this President divert valuable CIA resources from the most important threat that faces America - Terrorism - and assign them to climate change research? And why would a President of the United States allow 60 scientists access to our classified satellite intel?

Because he is a radical at heart, ignorant of the scope of the threat we face from Al-Queda and it's affiliates, naive in his understanding of the value of intel that can be gleaned from captured terrorists, and intent on pushing yet more screwed up legislation at us - Cap & Trade.

The end of this guy’s term in office can not come soon enough!

The Transformation Of The US Senate?

The US Senate is like the "Hotel California". You can check in anytime you'd like, but, although you can leave at anytime, most Senators only leave in a casket (Ted Kennedy is the most recent example). There are currently 26 members (26%) who are over 70 years old, 5 members who are over 80 years old, and one member who is over 90 years old! Hmmm, is this the Senate we're talking about, or an old age home?


Anyway, given those facts, I find it interesting that 10 Senators have already announced that they will not seek re-election in 2010. Given the agenda of this administration, I surmise that there will be more announcing their retirement - particularly if the Crap & Trade bill is taken up again.

The average American is very, very angry, and will assist anyone who refuses to retire out the door. So these 10 are ahead of the curve, and will avoid the embarrassment of being unceremoniously voted out. They probably couldn't take the humiliation anyway.

But what I find particularly disturbing about this is that some of these people are voting to fundamentally transform our country and governmental system, and then scampering into oblivion before the proverbial poop hits the fan. It's a hit and run of the greatest magnitude, and these people should be held accountable for the destruction they wrought on the American systems.
