I'm just a concerned citizen, not a "right wing extremist" (unless of course YOU are a progressive)

Hoping the Blind Will See
I grew up with black & white TV that had only 3 channels. I grew up with the ability to ride my bike anywhere in town, on my own, from the age of 10 on. I grew up in a neighborhood where all the moms were stay at home. I grew up just after the innocent '50's, when america still held strong ideals, knew she was the greatest nation on earth, was proud of that fact, and was also proud that citizens from all over the world struggled to come here because she was the one true bastion of liberty, where any dream could be realized if those that came here worked hard enough. I grew up when prayer was still allowed in school - and no one cared that it was. I grew up when we, as a nation, were trying to unite the country - remember the Civil Rights movement? When did we decide to start fragmenting it? And why? I grew up when Americans took pride in being an American. I pray that God lay His hand once again on this fine nation, and provide His blessing to return her to her former glory!
