We Should Have Listened

How was it possible that we didn't heed the warnings of people like Robert Welch and Ronald Regan back in the late 1950's and early 1960's? We had our chance, let's hope we're not too late to make amends...

These are the musings, opinions, and yes, the rants of a concerned American citizen. They are published for your entertainment, enlightenment and information, but mostly to make you think and make you question. I refuse to be labeled politically - I'm neither a Democrat nor a Republican. I am a conservative American and a supporter of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. I believe in the Constitution and The Bill of Rights as they were written. I do not believe they are "living" documents, but the concrete foundation of America. I have witnessed, over the past 45 years, a slow but constant erosion of the ideals and principles that made our country the greatest nation on earth - ever. That erosion has intensified dramatically in recent years, but particularly in 2009 and 2010. And while we may have slowed that erosion through the elections in 2010, we have yet to stop the flow of progressive sewerage that causes that erosion! There have been other great civilizations, but none that have contributed so much to world evolvement in such a short period of time. And as you undoubtedly have realized, none of them are around today. I don't want that same fate to visit America. I loved the America I grew up in; I miss that America today. I have done a lot of research, and in a word, Progressivism has deminished her, and continues to erode her strength. If we do not actively engage in the process to stop and reverse the erosion, she will be destroyed. And history will compare her to a beautiful shooting star - gone, all too soon.
