Beware of wolves in sheep's clothing. Or in this case, progressives in the Republican Party (RINO's). Lindsay Grahamnesty is not the only one speaking out to diminish the 1st Amendment. But it is interesting to note that he calls free speech a "good idea". Isn't it a right Senator Graham? Didn't you pledge and oath to protect and defend the Constitution? Didn't that mean anything to you, or was it just something you were required to recite before taking office?

The tide is turning. Historians will write about this turning point in America - the 2010 elections - and the subsequent transformation back to the country we once were, that "shining city on a hill". They will see that the influence peddled by the tea party not only drove the direction of the United States, but that it spawned an understanding, acceptance, and thirst for liberty that swept the world. That period of time, maybe called The Second Enlightenment, may last many decades. But historians will always be able to pinpoint it's origin.

I saw this illustration on Fox News. It compares seconds to dollars. When trying to grasp the scope of $1 Trillion dollars, they used seconds for their "currency". So, in their example, a million seconds is equal to 39 days, 14 hours. A billion seconds is equal to nearly 31.7 years! A Trillion seconds is equal to nearly 31,700 years - or more than 15 times longer than the period of time since Jesus was born.

Now, we have over $14 Trillion in debt. That much debt, when compared to seconds, equates to over 451,000 years!!! How do we pay that off without making some hard choices?

Now, for some historical reference to put these figures into context, these events have taken place between the time Jesus was born and only 100,000 years earlier. So imagine more than 451,000 years ago; and then imagine the sheer magnitude of our debt...

100,000 B.C.: First modern Homo sapiens in South Africa.

70,000 B.C.: Neanderthal man (use of fire and advanced tools).

35,000 B.C.: Neanderthal man replaced by later groups of Homo sapiens (i.e., Cro-Magnon man, etc.).

DC Already Knows That Obama Is Ineligible

It's pretty bad when Canada has to do all the work that OUR news organizations should be doing...

Members from all three branches of the Federal government already know that Barack Hussein Obama is ineligible for the office of President. National leaders, to include members of the US Supreme Court, already know that Barack Hussein Obama is not a “natural born citizen” of the United States of America, and therefore, is ineligible for the office he currently holds. What they don’t know is how long it will take for most Americans to figure it out, or what to do about it.
The diversionary search for an authentic birth certificate is ongoing and Obama has now spent in excess of $2 million in legal fees to keep that search alive.

Eric Holder’s Department of Justice continues to deploy taxpayer funded attorneys around the country to file dismissals on behalf of Obama, denying all American citizens access to the courts as a peaceful remedy, which only fuels the fire of discontent and the questions about Obama persist.
Michelle Obama states that Kenya is Barack’s “home country.” She knows, after twenty years with Barack. The Ambassador or Kenya has confirmed the same His family friends all know it, and are in fact quite proud of the fact that Americans had no hesitation in electing a “black man from Kenya” as President of the United States.
The US Supreme Court knows what the constitutional condition of “natural born citizen” means. Even the most far left member of that court, Justice Ginsberg, is on record proclaiming that a “natural born citizen” is a birth child of TWO legal US citizens.
Democrat Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi knows that Barack Hussein Obama is not eligible for the office of president, which is why she refused to certify the following language when certifying Obama as the DNC candidate for president in 2008.
This is the normal language for certification of nomination for president and vice president, filed by the DNC only in the state of Hawaii…

Note that the language which certifies that Barack Hussein Obama meets all constitutional qualifications is missing in the DNC documents filed in 49 of the 50 states. The certification of constitutional qualification for the office of president was filed only in Hawaii. That text is missing in the DNC certification filings for all other states.
Whereas the RNC filed the exact same certification document, including the constitutional text for John McCain in all 50 states, Obama was technically certified in only one state, Hawaii. A mere inconvenient technicality, I’m sure…
The US Congress knows that Barack Hussein Obama is not constitutionally qualified for the office he holds. Although the congress passed a resolution proclaiming Senator John McCain a “natural born citizen” as the son of two US citizens, no such congressional resolution exists for Barack Hussein Obama.
The press knows that Obama is not a “natural born citizen,” having written on several occasions about the “Kenyan born” senator from Chicago. A number of citizens have already been arrested and jailed for asking these questions.
Over four-hundred law suits have been filed across the country asking the courts to force Obama to become the “transparent president” he promised to be, and all four-hundred are being dismissed before discovery, all on the basis that “no citizen has proper legal standing” to ask who and what their president really is…
Over a half-million citizens have now signed a petition demanding to see Obama’s birth records.
Numerous members of the US Military have refused deployment orders from Obama, on the basis that he refuses to evidence his constitutional qualifications to issue such orders. In most cases, the soldiers have simply been reassigned, so as to avoid any disciplinary action that could end in “defense discovery” which might finally force Obama to open up his files once and for all.
Now an eighteen year veteran flight surgeon and active Lt. Colonel faces court martial as he makes his demands for proof that Obama is constitutionally eligible to issue orders as Commander-in-Chief.

No matter who asks, how they ask or where they ask, not one single individual in Washington DC or even state government seems willing to weigh in on the most important issue of our era. Who and what is the man sitting in the people’s White House?
How in the hell did we get an overtly anti-American resident of the people’s White House without so much as a simple birth certificate to prove who this person really is?
And why won’t a single elected representative of the people engage in the effort to force an answer to this question?
The answers to these and many more questions are likely very simple and equally chilling…

A press that knew he was the “first Kenyan born senator” didn’t forget that he was Kenyan born when he decided to run for president.
Most importantly, the people DO have a right (read - proper standing) to ask who and what their president really is, in any court, any time. And soldiers are court-martialed for refusing orders, unless those orders were issued by an illegitimate Commander-in-Chief.
DC knows what most Americans have yet to figure out…
Obama is NOT a natural born citizen no matter where he might have been born. Obama’s birth father was at no time an American citizen and on this basis alone, Obama cannot be a constitutionally qualified resident of the White House.
They know something else that the American people have yet to figure out…
The US Constitution no longer stands as the governing law of this land. Obama’s many unconstitutional policies, Czars, executive orders and statements provide the proof, and the fact that nobody in DC cares whether or not Obama is constitutionally qualified to be president of the United States should send a shiver down the spine of every red blooded American citizen, no matter their partisan agendas.
The people willing to ask the tough questions are deemed crackpots and conspiracy theorists, racists or bigots. But those tough questions should be obvious questions to all Americans and every president should have to answer those questions, no matter race, creed, color or party affiliation.
I fear that those questions will only be answered at the tip of pitch forks and torches one day. Sooner or later, the people will run out of patience with a system built to exclude them. When that day comes, I fear what methods will be employed and whether or not there will be a country left to save by then.
But sooner or later, one way or another, Obama will have to answer those questions. One day, the world will know who and what this man is and there will be a day of reckoning like no other in American history.
The longer it takes for that day to arrive, the more dangerous the situation will become. A man not even qualified to hold the office is using that office to destroy the greatest nation on earth. How much patience can the people be expected to display?
Obama is not eligible for the office he currently holds and everyone in a position to know - already know.
What they don’t know is how much longer they can keep it all a secret, or what will happen next.

An investigative report detailing the Obama eligibility controversy

I cannot think of any other subject in recent American history that has been so mired in controversy, so factually misrepresented, mischaracterized and so misunderstood than the matter of the eligibility of Barack Hussein OBAMA II to hold the office of President of the United States. Despite its importance, the topic has been summarily dismissed as fodder for conspiracy theorists by many, while others insist that the question of OBAMA’s citizenship has been “asked and answered.” But has it really been answered, and if not, why not?

In consideration of the controversy that continues to plague Barack Hussein OBAMA over his citizenship status and his well documented sustained pattern of refusal to provide authenticated documentation of his birth records and numerous other pertinent records, I’ve conducted an in-depth investigation into the matter in an effort to separate fact from fiction, myth from reality. My approach was the same I’ve used as an investigator over the last 25 years on behalf of Fortune 100 companies in their selection of corporate executives, conducting due diligence background investigations. In this case, however, I was not afforded direct and unfettered access to the “applicant’s”, or in this case, OBAMA’s original records. Nonetheless, I conducted inquiries and a lengthy investigation researching the information directly or indirectly disclosed by OBAMA, as well as collections of documents, court records, official federal and state documents, verbal statements, utterances and other documents determined to be of authentic provenance.

At issue is whether Barack Hussein OBAMA or any of his representatives have furnished sufficient documentation to prove his eligibility for the office of President of the United States under Article II, Section I of the U.S. Constitution that states:

“No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty-five years, and been fourteen years a resident within the United States.”

Presently, OBAMA occupies the White House as the Chief Executive Officer of the United States of America. As president, he is the commander-in-chief of our armed forces and ultimately responsible for the security of the United States. Any person of reasonable sensibilities would logically believe that his eligibility status has long been established by the Federal Election Commission (FEC) or those in positions of oversight for such matters. But has it?

In order to be as comprehensive as possible, my investigative findings include important background information into the legal definition of a “natural born citizen” as applicable to Article II of the U.S. Constitution. This background information is provided to clear up many common misconceptions about the eligibility controversy, and to explain why so many people are confused and easily mislead over this issue. After thoroughly investigating this matter, I have found demonstrable evidence that this confusion is a deliberate and highly effective tactic used to divert attention from a constitutional issue and thus, the rule of law, to the detriment of American citizens.

This report will also provide insight into the reasons for the largely ignored yet unprecedented legal fight by Barack Hussein OBAMA II, his representatives and assigns, against any release of the authenticated copy of his long form birth certificate and a multitude of other relevant historical documents.

Natural Born Citizen Qualification: The Facts

Based on extensive research, there are two separate but equally relevant legal issues that involve the specific eligibility of Barack Hussein OBAMA II to legally serve as President of the United States. First is the U.S. Constitution which was adopted into law on 17 September 1787. As noted by Article II, Section I of the U.S. Constitution, an individual born after 1787 cannot legally or legitimately serve as U.S. President unless that person is a “natural born citizen” of the United States.

The second issue is the precise definition of a “natural born citizen.” The Fourteenth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, adopted on 9 July 1868, furnishes a rather broad definition of who qualifies as a “natural born citizen.” Specifically, who qualifies as a natural born citizen legally qualified to hold the office of President of the United States under Article II, Section I of the U.S. Constitution lies at the core of the eligibility argument. For the sake of clarity in advance of potential ancillary arguments, it is noted here that the Twelfth-Amendment to the U.S. Constitution mandates that Vice-Presidents possess the same qualifications as Presidents.

Obviously, there is no legitimate controversy over the eligibility status of Barack Hussein OBAMA in terms of his age and length of residency within the U.S. Despite popular belief by many to the contrary, there is, however, an unresolved issue over his status as “a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States.”

While many constitutional scholars hold different beliefs over the intent of the natural born citizen qualifier, I submit that an extraordinarily prescient illustration of logic behind this qualification can be found in a brief letter from John JAY, a founding father of the United States and the first chief justice of the U.S. Supreme Court to George WASHINGTON dated 25 July 1787:

Permit me to hint whether it would not be wise and seasonable to provide a strong check to the admission of foreigners into the administration of our national government; and to declare expressly that the command in chief of the American army shall not be given to, nor devolve on any but a natural born citizen.

John Jay.

A study of the Federalist Papers and the writings of our founding fathers clearly indicate a concern for the security of the United States stemming from “threats from within,” or to prevent foreign enemies from becoming commander-in-chief. Given the nature and various enemies we currently face, the brief but ominous note to George WASHINGTON would certainly appear as relevant today, if not more so, as it was over 200 years ago.

Three years after that note was written, Congress affirmed in 1790 that a person born abroad whose parents are both citizens of the U.S. is, in fact, a U.S. citizen. In the years that followed, there have been many legal arguments to further define a natural born citizen. Based on extensive research, it would appear that the “next best” definition originates from an 1874 ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court in the case of Minor v. Happersett 88 U.S. 162 (1874). The U.S. Supreme Court ruled that if an individual is born in the United States and both parents are U.S. citizens at the time of birth, that individual is, in fact, a natural born citizen. That same Supreme Court decision also addressed the issue of a person born in the United States where one of the parents is not a U.S. citizen at the time of the birth of the child. The ruling noted that in such a case, the child’s natural born citizenship status is “in doubt."

In any event, subsequent rulings by Congress and enacted by federal statute affirm that children born abroad by parents who are both U.S. citizens are not only U.S. citizens themselves, but are recognized as “natural born citizens.” On the other hand, individuals born in the United States or elsewhere by one or more parents who are not U.S. citizens are not likely to be eligible to hold the office of President of the United States absent of federal statute affirming their eligibility. Therein lays the current situation of Barack Hussein OBAMA II and the need to establish his citizenship status through authenticated documents.

Presidential eligibility; historical current oddities

Since the U.S. Constitution was adopted into law, every elected U.S. president who was born after 1787 was born in the United States of parents who were both U.S. citizens

except two: Chester Alan ARTHUR and Barack Hussein OBAMA II. It is interesting to note that when Chester Alan ARTHUR was born, his father, William ARTHUR was a British subject and not a U.S. citizen. There is ample authenticated historical evidence to substantiate that ARTHUR deliberately and publicly misrepresented his family lineage during his campaign and following his election in 1880 as the 21st President, took steps to destroy evidence, including family and birth records.Barack Hussein OBAMA II has publicly admitted that his father was a Kenyan native and a British citizen who never became a U.S. citizen. Based on that admission and further verification of his father’s nationality, OBAMA’s status as a natural born citizen and thus, his eligibility to hold the office of President of the United States is questionable at best, at least according to the aforementioned Supreme Court ruling of Minor v. Happersett. This issue becomes more prescient and ominously nefarious when one investigates the overt and covert behavior of OBAMA as a candidate, his actions following his election, the duplicity of the media, members of the U.S. Congress, the Federal Elections Commission and other factors by those who appear to be working individually or in concert to purposely misdirect the core Constitutional argument.It is obvious that not all presidential candidates are treated equally in terms of their eligibility, as illustrated during the 2008 election. During the 2008 campaign, a lawsuit was filed petitioning the removal of Presidential candidate John McCAIN from the ballot. Ironically, the suit stemmed from the questions over McCAIN’s constitutional eligibility as his natural-born status was in doubt. To put to rest any doubt, McCAIN responded by providing an authenticated copy of his long form birth certificate to the Federal Elections Commission (FEC) and Congress. Despite the early rumblings of controversy over OBAMA’s origins, OBAMA did not.

Although McCain provided his long form birth certificate and took proactive measures to ensure his eligibility to hold office, many political and media pundits remained unsatisfied. Before the term “birther” became synonymous with racist conspiracy theorist, an article published on 28 February, 2008 in The New York Times titled McCain’s Canal Zone Birth Prompts Queries About Whether That Rules Him Out questioned McCAIN’s eligibility.

On that same day, Senator Claire McCASKILL, a Missouri democrat introduced a bill titled Children of Military Families Natural Born Citizen Act. Oddly, the bill was co-sponsored by both Senators

Barack Hussein OBAMA II and Hillary Rodham CLINTON, both who were running against McCAIN at the time the bill was introduced. Despite the specificity of its title, the bill (SB 2678) was an attempt to change the legal definition of a natural born citizen as referenced by Article II, Section I, clause V of the U.S. Constitution, a move that by default, would arguably and preemptively take away any constitutional challenges against the eligibility of Barack Hussein OBAMA II.

Although the bill failed to progress in the Senate, the same lawmakers introduced a non-binding resolution (Senate Resolution 511) on 10 April 2008 to again ostensibly recognize McCAIN as a “natural born citizen,” the resolution contained broad language that could be applied to OBAMA.

The controversy surrounding the eligibility of John McCAIN to hold office continued, at least in the media. On 11 July 2008, an article was published in

The New York Times under the title A Hint of New Life to a McCain Birth Issue. The article cited a law professor from the University of Arizona who concluded, in a detailed analysis “that neither Mr. McCain’s birth in 1936 in the Panama Canal Zone nor the fact that his parents were American citizens is enough to satisfy the constitutional requirement that the president must be a “natural-born citizen.” The law professor cited in that article, Gabriel J. Chin, published a sixty-two page discussion paper in August 2008 titled Why Senator John McCain Cannot be President: Eleven Months and a Hundred Yards Short of Citizenship (Arizona Legal Studies, Discussion Paper 08-14).

The status of Barack Hussein OBAMA, however, remained unquestioned by the majority of academia.

Arguments over importance & relevance: “Birthers” are born

Like the layers of an onion, one must peel back the layers of hyperbole, political agendas, accusations of racism, and other types of detractions and distractions to arrive at the very core of the argument, which is simply this:

Is Barack Hussein OBAMA in fact legally eligible, under the United States Constitution, to serve as President of the United States?

There are many who claim that the issue of Obama’s eligibility is unimportant and irrelevant, or an unnecessary distraction to the “real” crises facing America, including but not limited to OBAMA’s policies and actions as President. It is an interesting dichotomy that some of the most vocal proponents of the first amendment are the same who appear to disregard the fourteenth amendment, a practice especially virulent among those in the media. There are also those self-proclaimed conservative media pundits who have the collective audience of millions of Americans who flatly refuse to discuss, let alone demand answers to a legitimate legal question as defined by the U.S. Constitution.

Others claim the argument is moot, as the President was duly elected by the will of the people. Those people are in need of a history lesson as that argument is technically flawed at the most fundamental level. Others assert that questioning the eligibility issue is rooted in racism and bigotry, at which point the rule of law is ultimately lost in a flurry of deliberate distractions presented in the form of incendiary accusations.

Perhaps the most calculated and methodical approach in use today to dissuade people from addressing this issue is the labeling of anyone who believes that American citizens deserve to know whether Barack Hussein OBAMA meets the eligibility requirements as a “birther.” The negative connotations of this label are vast and incisive, and the evolution of this term has grown to include ancillary questions of OBAMA’s past.

The popular but erroneous perception is that “birthers,” often lumped together with “9/11 truthers” and others who have legitimate questions and concerns about important issues either live in a world where conspiracies dominate their thoughts, or are simply branded as kooks seeking answers to non-existent questions. The fact is that there are indeed legitimate unanswered questions about the events of 9/11 as there are legitimate unanswered questions about the background and overall eligibility of OBAMA. Individuals asking rational, fact based questions about either subject are intentionally combined with others whose questions are obviously well beyond the realm of reason.

In particular, it is not only the absence of authenticated evidence regarding OBAMA’s citizenship status at birth that cause rational people to question his eligibility status under Article II, Section I of the United States Constitution, but the manner in which OBAMA and those in positions of government oversight have responded to legitimate inquiries. It is also how some members of the media have chosen to report on this issue, misreport or otherwise distort the issue, or not report on it at all.

Whatever arguments are used to understate or even mock the importance of this matter, it cannot be denied that the rule of law is being ignored and as a result, the Constitution of the United States is being trampled. If the fourteenth amendment is permitted to be exploited, ignored or violated, it might not be long before other amendments, along with the entire Constitution, become nothing more than a footnote in American history. As such, questions surrounding this matter must be taken seriously.

The Obama eligibility issue: has it already been answered?

No. It has been a common tactic to refute questions about OBAMA’s eligibility by citing the Internet publication of a Certification of Live Birth (COLB), also known as a “short form birth certificate” purportedly issued by the state of Hawaii. The controversial document was originally posted on the Internet at http://www.dailykos.com, a political website on or about 12 June 2008 as questions about OBAMA’s place of birth and eligibility status began to become a popular Internet topic. As there was no certification of authenticity that accompanied the alleged document, its provenance could not be established.

Subsequent to the document being posted on the aforementioned website, the “Fight the Smears” website reproduced the document here. While many believe “Fight the Smears” website is an independent organization dedicated to separating fact from fiction, it is actually owned and operated by “Organizing for America,” the successor organization to “Obama for America.” Clearly, it is far from independent.

Yet another website purported to be an independent arbiter of truth is “FactCheck.org,” which claims that the eligibility status of OBAMA has long been satisfied. Like the previous site, it is important to understand who owns or operates the site in order to assess the reliability of the site. The Fact Check website is a project of the Annenberg Public Policy Center of the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania. It receives its primary funding from the Annenberg Foundation. It is relevant to note that Barack Hussein OBAMA II was a founding member, chairman, and past president of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, which was also funded by the Annenberg Foundation. Accordingly, it is reasonable to challenge the neutrality of the information provided by that site.

Since then, the image, including variations of the image, have appeared on the Internet to “prove” that Barack Hussein OBAMA meets the eligibility requirements under Article II, Section I of the U.S. Constitution.

Since its original posting, numerous individuals and websites have sought to disprove the authenticity of the document, which was posted as an image in JPEG format, through analysis of the image or by other means (e.g. sequencing of certificate numbers, absence of state seal, etc.). Although there appears to be sufficient evidence suggesting the document is not a valid certificate and has been falsely created or the image has been deliberately altered, limiting discussion at this time to the merits of the COLB detracts from a much larger issue: OBAMA’s massive and unprecedented campaign to keep sealed his actual birth certificate (and other relevant records) from public view.

This is not to say that the publication of the COLB document is unimportant. In fact, quite the opposite is true if the matter of legal eligibility is ever properly and thoroughly investigated by a legitimate court of inquiry within the United States. As agents, representatives or the assigns of Barack Hussein OBAMA have publicly asserted that the question of eligibility has been officially answered by the publication of the COLB as listed on officially sanctioned web sites, and it is ultimately proven that the document is deliberately deceptive by any means, an inquiry into violations of the United States Crimes Code, 18 USC Section 1028 encompassing fraud and other related activity involving identification documents might apply.

Since the initial COLB was first published in June 2008, there have been at least two additional incarnations of the document, each containing revisions that bear additional information allegedly “supporting” its authenticity. Accordingly, the Certification of Live Birth is consistently cited by individuals, the media and others to prove the constitutional eligibility of Barack Hussein OBAMA. Nonetheless, even an authenticated and genuine Certification of Live Birth is legally insufficient for the purpose of proving eligibility, as it merely represents that OBAMA’s birth record is on file in the state of Hawaii. It falls short of providing the information necessary to determine constitutional eligibility in at least two areas: it does not offer any information regarding who supplied the information, nor does it confirm the authenticity of the information provided. Again, it merely indicates that the information is “on file.

Hawaii officials declare Obama eligible

Yet another deception levied against the American people is the assertion that the Hawaiian officials have confirmed Barack Hussein OBAMA’s “eligibility” through a statement issued on 27 July 2009 by Dr. Chiyome FUKINO, Director of the Hawaii Department of Health, which declared Obama Hawaiian-born and a "natural-born American citizen." Those who claim that the 2009 press release by Dr. FUKINO must understand that FUKINO has absolutely no statutory authority to make such a statement. Accordingly and based on the rule of law, that statement cannot be considered as evidence or legal documentation either to support or deny OBAMA’s eligibility status.

Hawaii birth announcements: anecdotal evidence of eligibility

Many who argue that Barack Hussein OBAMA II was born in Hawaii not only point to the COLB as direct evidence of eligibility, but they also point to two separate birth announcements that appear in the Honolulu Sunday Advertiser and the Star-Bulletin in 1961. Those doing so either fail to understand the legal definition of a natural born citizen as it applies to the eligibility factor, or are guilty of intentionally misdirecting the core issue. A birth announcement is simply that – a public announcement that a baby was born. The birth announcements do not provide any information about the child’s citizenship, cannot be authenticated, and hold no weight of evidence to support either side of the eligibility argument.

The unraveling of Barry Soetoro, a/k/a Barack Hussein Obama II

To those who are now speaking out about the Obama eligibility matter, I can think of no better statement than the one uttered by a very frustrated Officer John McClane, played by Bruce Willis in the movie“Die Hard.” In order to get the attention of a police officer oblivious to the carnage taking place inside of the Nakatomi Plaza building after making a very cursory inspection and finding nothing amiss,McClane tosses the body of a terrorist from an office window window onto the windshield of the police cruiser and fires at the police car, yelling “welcome to the party, pal.”

I suspect that this statement accurately reflects the sentiment of numerous individuals and groups who have been fighting in the real world trenches for full disclosure of all of Barack Hussein Obama’s records, including his birth certificate, for the last three years. People such as Commander Charles Kerchner (retired) and Attorney Mario Apuzzo, Pennsylvania Attorney Philip Berg, Reverend David Manning of Atlah Ministries, and numerous others who have spoken out and taken their valiant fight for full disclosure of Obama’s records to the nation’s courts, only to be struck down for lack of standing or other arbitrary judicial opinions.

Due to the recent public statements by billionaire businessman turned reality television star about the birth certificate issue, the eligibility of Barack Hussein Obama has gained equal amounts of renewed interest and contempt by the American media and a vocal segment of the American public. The latter display of contempt is nicely displayed by some recent interview clips, including the priceless Meredith Viera interview of Donald Trump where she can hardly hold back her disdain of Mr. Trump and the entire eligibility matter, and Donald Trump’s appearance on “The View” last month.

On “The View,” Mr. Trump wreaked havoc among the cadre of women co-hosts when he merely mentioned the lack of a legitimate birth certificate provided by Obama. Lacking any coherent or intellectual rebuttals to Trump’s claims, a not-so veiled accusation of racism was leveled against Trump by “The View” co-host Whoppi Goldberg, while Barbara Walters expressed discomfort with the matter by simply wanting to change the topic.

“Welcome to the party, pal”

During the last three years, there have been numerous individuals, authors, investigative journalists, and others (and I consider myself among them) who have been mocked, ridiculed, belittled or ignored by Obama supporters, the liberal media, and the political left for even suggesting that this issue has any merit whatsoever.

Perhaps even worse, conservatives on the right, including some high profile media personalities, have joined with the left in the same vitriolic ridicule of us so-called “Birthers,” a pejorative term ascribed to those who are merely asking for yet-unfurnished proof that Barack Hussein Obama is constitutionally eligible to occupy the office of the President of the United States.

It has been only after Donald Trump began to ask the same questions others have been asking for the last three years that the matter appears to have morphed from a fringe topic into legitimacy. For example, Rush Limbaugh, who has kept this topic at arm’s length, has taken delight of the Viera interview, although it’s difficult to discern whether Mr. Limbaugh is more delighted at Mr. Trump’s steam roller approach and Viera’s reaction, or that the issue is being finally exposed in such an unlikely venue. Because Mr. Limbaugh has the ear of millions every day, I tend to gravitate to the former.

To those who are now beginning to pick up the topic because of the exposure by Donald Trump, I can only say “welcome to the party, pal.”

With all due respect to Donald Trump, he has not “legitimized” the eligibility issue, as the matter far exceeds the existence of the birth certificate and has adversely affected the lives of many patriotic Americans who have long fought for full disclosure of all of Obama’s records. Promising to be the “most transparent” president in history, Barack Hussein Obama is the most deliberately opaque president who has withheld many more records than his birth certificate. Not only has he withheld his records, he has fought to keep them hidden from public view, amassing legal fees that some claim to exceed a million dollars of his own money, and perhaps twice that amount if pro-bono and other legal work is counted.

Also as a result of his refusal to disclose his records, a respected military physician is presently serving time in Leavenworth for refusing to obey deployment orders until he was satisfied that the orders he was given were constitutionally legal. LTC. Terry Lakin, an honored veteran with 18 unblemished and distinguished years of service, lost his legal battle and remains behind bars as Obama’s first political prisoner in the war for truth. While many may question the methods and venue in which LTC Lakin chose to take up his battle, no one can question his motives.

“The biggest scam ever”

Both Messrs Trump and Limbaugh have stated that if Obama is determined to be ineligible to hold office, it is the “biggest scam ever” perpetrated. Indeed, and that statement itself might be an understatement.

I urge those reading this and those who are pursuing the truth to avoid “battlefield myopia” and not merely cling to the existence or lack thereof of the long form, authenticated birth certificate. The issue is much greater than the birth certificate or where Obama was physically born, as he could have been born in the Lincoln bedroom during the Kennedy administration and still be ineligible to hold the office of president under Article II, Section I, Clause 5 of the United States Constitution. Our founders determined that future presidents must be born to two parents who are both U.S. citizens. Clearly then, the place of Obama’s birth is merely one concern, while the citizen aspect of his parents remains another.

But the scam goes much deeper. Reviewing only the admissions of Barack Obama, we are told that Obama was born to U.S. citizen Stanley Ann Dunham, legally adopted by a foreign national named Lolo Soetoro, had taken the name Barry SOETORO, and was given Indonesian citizenship. He was raised as a Muslim in Indonesia, and attended a school there that accepted all faiths. At one point, Barry SOETORO moved to Hawaii to reside with his grandparents after Lolo SOETORO and Stanley Ann DUNHAM divorced. Obama completed high school as Barry SOETORO Much is missing from his early years, including a legal name change from Barry SOETORO to Barack Hussein Obama II. Absent of any document to show the legal process of a name change within the U.S., it is likely that the man sitting in the Oval Office is, in fact, Barry SOETORO.

The above would also serve to explain the discrepancies with his social security number and region of issuance, a matter we are very familiar with in our capacity as licensed investigators. The reasons we have seen published concerning the allegations of the association of multiple social security numbers with Barry SOETORO and Barack Hussein OBAMA has always bothered us, but not necessarily for the reasons often published. After careful and extensive analysis, it appears that many of the numbers and name variations associated with Obama are what we would describe as “database chaff.” It is not uncommon for database repositories to erroneously associate different numbers, addresses and sometimes names to an individual. The reasons for this are many and beyond the scope of this article, but it happens.

Accordingly, an investigator is well advised not to take the information obtained from a proprietary database at face value without first analyzing the information, tossing out the chaff and concentrating on the rest, which we have done. Additionally, we have found and concur with others on this matter that the social security number associated with Obama that was issued from the SSA region in Connecticut is troublesome, but again, not necessarily for the reasons as publicly stated by others.

As we have been investigating this matter for some time (see our investigative report 1 and report 2 in PDF format for important background information), it has become apparent that at some point, the individual known as Barry SOETORO began using the name Barack Hussein Obama II. Based on our investigative findings, it was at about this same time period that the Connecticut issuance of the social security number appeared and became “attached” to the name Barack Hussein Obama. It can then be reasonably reconciled that Barry SOETORO became Barack Hussein Obama while he was a young man in New York following his mysterious trip to Pakistan on a passport that was likely not issued by the U.S.

Trump’s curious statements

As long-time investigators dealing with large corporations, we have the distinct advantage of knowing other professionals in the industry. Although we have had no contact with Mr. Trump’s investigators nor are we connected in any manner to Mr. Trump’s organization, team or efforts, we are aware of the identity of at least one who is actively working on the Obama birth certificate mystery. We are also familiar with that investigator’s associates and their areas of inquiry, so we have a fairly good understanding of what is taking place behind the scenes - and there is plenty taking place behind the scenes.

In advance of that show, however, we should address two rather curious statements made by Mr. Trump during one recent interview. When talking about his investigators in Hawaii who are looking into Obama’s birth certificate issue, he stated that “you wouldn’t believe what they’re finding.” Mr. Trump also stated that in his experience on Wall Street, he is familiar with frauds of all types, and has seen some very sophisticated frauds over the years. Well, we do have a very good idea of what is being found or verified as having been scrubbed from the records.

In our investigation, we found that the scrubbing and altering of records pertaining to Obama began well before he became an Illinois state senator in the 1996 election cycle. The “scrubbing” or alteration of records did not begin or end with Obama, but also extended to his mother and other associates as well. In fact, a very large and extremely relevant part of the investigation of Barry SOETORO, or Barack Hussein Obama II as he is known, revolves around his parents, step father, and grandparents. and extends from the U.S. mainland to Hawaii and other points across the globe.

Meteoric rise to power was well planned

To understand how a virtually unknown politician from Illinois could rise to occupy the most powerful position in the free world in less than a decade after he became a state senator, one must take a few steps backward to understand the complete picture, and that Obama was selected long before he was elected to become president. Problems with his background were numerous, however, including but not limited to his parental lineage and place of birth. These problems became apparent through a private vetting process by his own handlers, or those who are known as the “power elite” in the latter half of the last century. His handlers were and are globalists of the highest order, extending from George Soros to those above him on the proverbial pyramid capstone of globalists.

The globalists had direct and indirect ties to the Dunham family and in particular, Obama’s mother. Consider, for example, that Peter F. Geithner (father of Obama’s Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner), worked for the Ford Foundation and oversaw the work of Obama‚Äôs mother, Ann Dunham, while she was developing “microfinance programs” in Indonesia. In brief, Obama’s mother set up a large loan system in Indonesia akin to the savings and loan structure of the 1970s and 1980s. To gain a better understanding of her activities in finance, despite her background in anthropology, recall the BCCI scandal of the late 1970s. In fact, some of the same “players” who existed then continue to exist in Obama’s circles.

Our investigation into her activities and those close to Obama are continuing and will be the subject of a separate article, including how Obama as president fits into the communist China agenda in terms of global finance. Meanwhile, it’s important to take a few more steps backward in history to understand that the scrubbing of inconvenient records is not new.

Fast Rewind: Senator Joe McCarthy & the relevance to today

The majority of Americans alive today do not recall the WW II postwar era beyond the revised history contained in textbooks that rarely reflect the truth of that time. Today’s well-coiffed but intellectually deficient anchors who deliver the news to ordinary Americans know little to nothing of the gritty reality of the origins of the “cold war” between the U.S. and the former Soviet Union, and the infiltration of communist agents into American government. It is that very infiltration that has paved the way for Obama.

Mention, however, the name of former Senator Joe McCarthy and watch as they recoil in disgust, having been taught that the inquiries of Senator Joe McCarthy is a black chapter in the history books of America. Since the 9/11 attacks, some of these news anchors and pundits have actually described the vetting of Muslims for sensitive positions in the U.S. as a throwback to “McCarthyism,” while few actually using that term know the true history of communist infiltration in key government positions in the postwar era.

The truth is that communist infiltration of and through the U.S. government, particularly the State Department, was and remains a legitimate threat to America. A 106-page confidential memo dated 3 August 1946, written by State Department official Samuel Klaus, detailed the alarming levels of communist infiltration into American government. It was that memo that served as the basis of Senator Joe McCarthy launching an investigation into the threat to America from within. It was through the efforts of McCarthy that a Senate subcommittee chaired by Senator Millard Tydings requested and eventually received a copy of that memo.

As noted by M. Stanton Evans, author of Blacklisted by History, that memo would mysteriously vanish from our nation’s records. Mr. Evans notes that this historic memo is not in the legislative panel file of the Tydings panel, located in the National Archives of the U.S., and was also removed from the files of Samuel Klaus, the author of the memo, from the National Archives in March of 1993, nearly a half century after it was issued.

As painstakingly revealed by M. Stanton Evans in his extensive work Blacklisted by History, important documentation well beyond the Klaus memo relevant to exposing the level of communist infiltration into the U.S. government is not limited to government sources such as the National Archive, but also to private data sources and repositories. He lists a number of instances where records were scrubbed and consequently, created a much different and much less accurate picture of that era of U.S. history.

This topic is as relevant today as it was during the time of Senator Joe McCarty, if not even more relevant. One only has to look at the reported communist, Marxist and socialist ties in Obama’s lineage and inner circle to understand the impact of missing records.

One would do well to use the voluminous work of M. Stanton Evans as a template to understand how Americans have been deliberately misled by the media and some members of our own government into believing that the communist and socialist objectives, launched in the postwar era, have led to where we find ourselves today.

The removal of the Klaus memo from his file in March of 1993 was as deliberate as the refusal of government officials, complicit with the media moguls of today to address the lack of bona fides of Barack Hussein Obama. In fact, one could consider them an extension of the same.

What it all means

Based on investigative findings that are not discussed in the media, it would appear that the selection and election of Barack Hussein Obama was indeed the greatest scam ever pulled off against the American people. The above provides just a small portion of the critical issues surrounding Obama’s eligibility, identity and his place in U.S. and world history. The story is much larger than a single piece of paper, but that paper, if properly authenticated, will serve as the thread that will unravel the larger tangled web of the Obama legend.

To those who have just awakened to the constitutional crisis we are facing at the hands of this president, we’d like to say once again, “welcome to the party, pal.”

Does the government even have a clue? We certainly didn't have any direct input in that result. What could you do with just a small portion of that amount? Only then can we seriously and effectively begin the process of reducing government spending and eliminating the debt that has a chokehold on America.

I've been sitting around thinking about how a bunch of Progressives, led by Reid, Pelosi and obama, have, either intentionally or unintentionally, started a stampede to transform America from her former greatness into something quite a bit less. We know it was obama's intention to transform America, but at such a reckless speed? From the trampling of the Constitution, to ramrodding unpopular legislation through Congress, to the weakening of ties with allies held dear for decades, to the manipulation of government destabilization in the middle east, to willfully ignoring the will of the people on border security, to the non-prosecution of obvious crimes like Black Panther voter intimidation, to the attempted usurpation of our rights through Net Neutrality, anti-gun legislation, and the "Fairness Doctrine", to intentionally misleading the American public through false statements, hidden language in legislation, or misrepresentation of facts, and lastly to the irresponsible fiscal actions/inactions - bail outs, no budget proposals, deferring to future Congresses to tackle entitlement programs, quantitative easement, buying our own bonds, allowing the continues existence of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, etc. - these Progressives, some wearing sheep's clothing and now identified properly as RINO's, have created so much chaos, both within the country and throughout the world, that the Constitutionalists that resided in Congress, and those we sent there in 2010, can not hold the line. The only option for corralling this stampede is to send more cowboys in to help. That's where we all come in - vote in the Cowboys in 2012. It's the only way to stop the stampede!!

Most people think the camps have been constructed to keep people in. Really? For what purpose? What if they aren't being constructed to keep people in, but to keep them OUT? Is this where the privileged elite and their "circle of friends" will go after they implode the economy, bring widespread civil unrest, and destroy America to wait out the storm? Is this where they are staging hundreds of thousands of pounds of food, clothing and other basic necessities? Why else would the camps contain playgrounds? And the body bags and coffins? Is that in case "regular folk" try to gain access to the "compound" looking for food and water? Is this scenario possible? And what about the "missing" trillions from the Federal Reserve? There was a time when Americans were unashamed and eager to display their patriotism. There are many accounts of heroic individuals or events, in Americans storied past, where the qualities inherent in our early settlers - integrity, honor, character, conviction, courage and fortitude - were conveyed in correspondence or in written accounts of those individuals and events.

But look around you. Think of everyone you know. Thinking objectively, how many of them truly possess those qualities? Do you even possess them? Would you be willing to die to protect someone else's right to liberty? Even if yiu didn't know them? Even if they were not American?

Here's a letter, written by Lt. Col. William B.Travis. Ever heard of him? Probably not. But I bet almost every native Texan knows who he is. So why don't all Americans?

And how is it that we care more about accepting the rituals and traditions of other cultures, and incorporating those rituals and traditions into our lives, while simultaneously we demonize and ignore much of our own?

Remember the Alamo, and why those men stood their ground despite the odds against them. And then try to visualize what it meant to be an American 170 years ago, and why 170 years ago we had the respect of the the whole world. Notice we have little respect today. The American Experiment

Our Founding Fathers devised a republican form of government, and supported it with ideas contained within the Constitution, hoping that the foundation they were laying was strong enough to support a country for centuries. It has been described as the American Experiment. But to be successful, the experiment required, and assumed, that the citizens of the then budding nation would be educated, self-reliant, capable, entrepreneurial, God-fearing men and women.

That remained the case for nearly 150 years, and despite the constant attempts to erode the Constitution, no one allowed the erosion of Liberty to take hold. That all ended about 100 years ago, as little by little, small attacks on Liberty were ignored, sometimes even welcomed, and incorporated into our daily lives. And then, about 50 years ago, with the assassination of JFK and the presidency of LBJ, progressivism took hold and a steady, increasingly fast erosion of Liberty has occurred.

Since LBJ's administration the government, with their union partners, have corrupted the educational system. More and more money has been poured into public education over the decades, and yet our educational standing in the world community continues to decline. At the same time, the government has seen fit to create, promote and spread the existence and use of "social programs" designed as "safety nets" for the masses. By doing so they have created whole cities where the culture of dependence and entitlement exist. They have most recently extended unemployment benefits to 99 weeks! A safety net? Sounds more like a fishing net that the government is using to trap their "catch". And also, not surprisingly, the government has acquiesced to a minority who have attacked God - driving Him out of our schools, our public lives, our culture and our consciousness.

So is it any wonder that the American Experiment is in peril? The cornerstones of the foundation for Liberty have been attacked and eroded - primarily in the past 50 years. Educated, self-reliant, God-fearing men and women are no longer the norm in America. Instead we have bred a sub-class of largely uneducated, immoral, government-dependent citizens who are sucking the lifeblood out of the country Madison and Jefferson and Franklin and Washington et al envisioned.

And the rest of us can be found in two camps - the first contains a group of people supporting the continued destruction of America as she was created and envisioned, albeit, many of who are doing so in complete ignorance of the consequences. In the second group are those who read this blog and other blogs like it, and yet, sadly, even while seeing the destruction being wrought on America, are largely powerless to prevent it. Unless more people engage actively, unless more people attend town hall meetings in their home districts, surround their Congressmen and demand accountability from them, unless more people call, and/or write their Senators and Representatives on a weekly basis, the American Experiment has run it's course, and we are destined for the scrap heap where other great civilizations have been tossed.

Is that what you envision for America's future? Is that ok with you as long as your daily life isn't disrupted? Have we become that selfish as individuals and as a nation? The left talks extensively about "collective salvation" - that we can not be successful without everyone being in the same boat. And they envision reaching that "utopia" through the "redistribution of wealth" process. But what will really turn this country around, and back towards it's golden years is "collective individualism" - where everyone is allowed to be as good as they want by working as hard as they want, without the interference of excessive government regulation, oversight or taxes. Where everyone has the right to be free and live free - outside the constraints of an ever more oppressive government. Where everyone has the opportunity to pursue their happiness, rather than have government, and it's mouthpieces, sell us their version of happiness and expect everyone will be ok with that.

So I guess it all comes down to a little introspective thinking to see what you really believe. If you aren't too selfish, and if you aren't too shallow, and you aren't too ignorant, and you aren't too far gone... take the time to do the thinking.

Is The War For Personal Responsibility In America Finally Lost?

By now most of you have undoubtedly seen the video of the woman walking through the mall, texting on her cell phone and falling into a fountain. Was anyone's picture clear enough to distinguish who she was? I'm sure that answer is no. Personally I could care less, and no one would ever have figured out who she was, if she had just kept her mouth shut and laughed off the event as "just one of those things." Instead, this woman has decided that she is going to sue the mall! Really? And the mall was responsible how?

She was a bit emotional as she discussed the event on the news, so perhaps she felt humiliated because people were laughing at her. Really? And that's whose fault? Is her psyche that fragile? She doesn't see the humor? Do we have to worry about everyone's mental strength before we react to something we see or hear? Is laughing at something stupid going to be eradicated from American society by the PC police too? Give me a break! This woman, whoever she is, seems to have some self-esteem issues, is perhaps mentally fragile, and definitely lacks sufficient sense of humor to deal effectively with the results of her actions. And she doesn't understand the concept of personal responsibility! Oh well, lock me up now I guess, because stupid things do make me laugh!!

As for the answer to the title question? Time will tell...

Hypocrisy And Murder: An American Dilemma

Can someone answer this question for me? What is the rational logic that would drive a society to fight passionately to prevent the death of individuals who certainly deserve it (and instead place those individuals in prison for life where they enjoy many of societies perks without the responsibility), while at the same time allowing the murder of unborn children (who will never take a breath, nevermind enjoy a societal perk)?

The Death Penalty vs Abortion. I have a pretty logical mind, but the two positions, from the same ideological group, are irreconcilable to me. So I need some help to understand the rationale of the left. Anyone have any input?

AP PHILADELPHIA -- A doctor whose abortion clinic was described as a filthy, foul-smelling "house of horrors" that was overlooked by regulators for years was charged Wednesday with murder, accused of delivering seven babies alive and then using scissors to kill them.

Dr. Kermit Gosnell was also charged with murder in the death of a woman who suffered an overdose of painkillers while awaiting an abortion.

In a nearly 300-page grand jury report filled with ghastly, stomach-turning detail, prosecutors said Pennsylvania regulators ignored complaints of barbaric conditions at Gosnell's clinic, which catered to poor, immigrant and minority women in the city's impoverished West Philadelphia section.

Prosecutors called the case a "complete regulatory collapse."

"Pennsylvania is not a Third World country," the district attorney's office declared in the report. "There were several oversight agencies that stumbled upon and should have shut down Kermit Gosnell long ago."

Gosnell, 69, was arrested and charged with eight counts of murder in all. Nine of Gosnell's employees - including his wife, a cosmetologist who authorities say performed abortions - also were charged.

Prosecutors said Gosnell made millions of dollars over three decades performing thousands of dangerous abortions, many of them illegal late-term procedures. His clinic had no trained nurses or medical staff other than Gosnell, a family physician not certified in obstetrics or gynecology, prosecutors said.

At least two women died from the procedures, while scores more suffered perforated bowels, cervixes and uteruses, authorities said.

Under Pennsylvania law, abortions are illegal after 24 weeks of pregnancy, or just under six months, and most doctors won't perform them after 20 weeks because of the risks, prosecutors said.

In a typical late-term abortion, the fetus is dismembered in the uterus and then removed in pieces. That is more common than the procedure opponents call "partial-birth abortion," in which the fetus is partially extracted before being destroyed. Prosecutors said Gosnell instead delivered many of the babies alive.
He "induced labor, forced the live birth of viable babies in the sixth, seventh, eighth month of pregnancy and then killed those babies by cutting into the back of the neck with scissors and severing their spinal cord," District Attorney Seth Williams said.

Gosnell referred to it as "snipping," prosecutors said.

Prosecutors estimated Gosnell ended hundreds of pregnancies by cutting the spinal cords, but they said they couldn't prosecute more cases because he destroyed files.

"These killings became so routine that no one could put an exact number on them," the grand jury report said. "They were considered 'standard procedure.'"

Defense attorney William J. Brennan, who represented Gosnell during the investigation, said: "Obviously, these allegations are very, very serious."

The grand jury report came out a day after new Republican Gov. Tom Corbett took office. Spokesman Kevin Harley pledged that Corbett's administration, through his new health secretary, would do more to oversee such clinics.

"What needs to be done is regulators, whether on the local or state or federal level, need to properly regulate, inspect and do their jobs," Harley said. "The safety of our citizens should be first and foremost."

Authorities raided Gosnell's clinic early last year in search of drug violations and stumbled upon "a house of horrors," Williams said. Bags and bottles holding aborted fetuses "were scattered throughout the building," the district attorney said. "There were jars, lining shelves, with severed feet that he kept for no medical purpose."

Prosecutors said the place reeked of cat urine because of the animals that were allowed to roam freely, furniture and blankets were stained with blood, instruments were not properly sterilized, and disposable medical supplies were used over and over.

Gosnell didn't advertise, but word got around. Women came from across the city, state and region for illegal late-term abortions, authorities said. They paid $325 for first-trimester abortions and $1,600 to $3,000 for abortions up to 30 weeks. The clinic took in $10,000 to $15,000 a day, authorities said.

"People knew near and far that if you needed a late-term abortion you could go see Dr. Gosnell," Williams said.

White women from the suburbs were ushered into a separate, slightly cleaner area because Gosnell believed they were more likely to file complaints, Williams said.

Few if any of the sedated patients knew their babies had been delivered alive and then killed, prosecutors said. Many were first-time mothers who were told they were 24 weeks pregnant, even if they were much further along, authorities said.

Prosecutors said Gosnell falsified the ultrasound examinations that determine how far along a pregnancy is, teaching his staff to hold the probe in such a way that the fetus would look smaller.

Gosnell sometimes joked about the babies, saying one was so large he could "walk me to the bus stop," according to the report.

State regulators ignored complaints about Gosnell and the 46 lawsuits filed against him, and made just five annual inspections, most satisfactory, since the clinic opened in 1979, authorities said. The inspections stopped completely in 1993 because of what prosecutors said was the pro-abortion rights attitude that set in after Democratic Gov. Robert Casey, an abortion foe, left office.

Williams accused state Health Department officials of "utter disregard" for the safety of women undergoing abortion, and said the testimony of agency officials "enraged" the grand jury. But he said he could find no criminal offenses with which they could be charged, in part because too much time has elapsed.

"These officials were far more protective of themselves when they testified before the grand jury. Even (Health Department) lawyers, including the chief counsel, brought private attorneys with them - presumably at government expense," the report said.

The state's reluctance to investigate, under several administrations, may stem partly from the sensitivity of the abortion debate, Williams said. Nonetheless, he called Gosnell's conduct a clear case of murder.

"A doctor who with scissors cuts into the necks, severing the spinal cords of living, breathing babies who would survive with proper medical attention commits murder under the law," he said. "Regardless of one's feelings about abortion, whatever one's beliefs, that is the law."

Four clinic employees were also charged with murder, and five more, including Gosnell's wife, Pearl, with conspiracy, drug and other crimes. All were in custody. Gosnell's wife performed extremely late-term abortions on Sundays, the report said.

One of the murder charges against Gosnell involves a woman seeking an abortion, Karnamaya Mongar, who authorities said died in 2009 because she was given too much of the painkiller Demerol and other drugs.

Gosnell wasn't at the clinic at the time. His staff administered the drugs repeatedly as they waited for him to arrive at night, as was his custom, the grand jury found.

Mongar and her husband, Ash, had fled their native Bhutan and spent nearly 20 years in camps in Nepal. They had three children. A man who answered the phone Wednesday at a listing for Ash Mongar in Virginia did not speak English, while their daughter did not immediately return a message.

The malpractice suits filed against Gosnell include one over the death of a 22-year-old Philadelphia woman, a mother of two, who died of a bloodstream infection and a perforated uterus in 2000. Gosnell sometimes sewed up such injuries without telling the women about the complications, prosecutors said.

Gosnell earned his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia and is board certified in family practice. He started, but did not finish, a residency in obstetrics-gynecology, authorities said.

Assistant District Attorney Joanne Pescatore said: "He does not know how to do an abortion. Once he got them there, he saw dollar signs and did abortions that other people wouldn't do."

Responsibility For The Mess In Which We Find Ourselves, Lies Squarely With Us

I make this statement because, over the course of a hundred years or so, We The People have not upheld our responsibility to protect the Constitution. We consciously or unconsciously made a choice to abdicate that authority to those we elected to national office. Once we did that, we, in a fat, stupid, happy and carefree way, completely closed our eyes to what Washington did, assuming all the while that good men would do good things and conveniently forgetting or repressing the fact that "absolute power corrupts absolutely". So, if we want our Liberty back, we had better be prepared to work long and hard, and talk loud and plain, in order to reclaim it.

The problem that I see with that process is this. There are generations of Americans who don't even recognize how much Liberty has already been lost. We are in for tough times my friends, and great resolve and vision will be required for us to see our way back to the past. Do you have the stamina? Can you withstand the pain that is coming - financial, economic, etc.? Prepare...

What Our Constitution Permits

Here's the House of Representatives new rule: "A bill or joint resolution may not be introduced unless the sponsor has submitted for printing in the Congressional Record a statement citing as specifically as practicable the power or powers granted to Congress in the Constitution to enact the bill or joint resolution." Unless a congressional bill or resolution meets this requirement, it cannot be introduced.

If the House of Representatives had the courage to follow through on this rule, their ability to spend and confer legislative favors would be virtually eliminated. Also, if the rule were to be applied to existing law, they'd wind up repealing at least two-thirds to three-quarters of congressional spending.

You might think, for example, that there's constitutional authority for Congress to spend for highway construction and bridges. President James Madison on March 3, 1817 vetoed a public works bill saying: "Having considered the bill this day presented to me entitled 'An act to set apart and pledge certain funds for internal improvements,' and which sets apart and pledges funds 'for constructing roads and canals, and improving the navigation of water courses, in order to facilitate, promote, and give security to internal commerce among the several States, and to render more easy and less expensive the means and provisions for the common defense,' I am constrained by the insuperable difficulty I feel in reconciling the bill with the Constitution of the United States and to return it with that objection to the House of Representatives, in which it originated."

Madison, who is sometimes referred to as the father of our Constitution, added to his veto statement, "The legislative powers vested in Congress are specified and enumerated in the eighth section of the first article of the Constitution, and it does not appear that the power proposed to be exercised by the bill is among the enumerated powers."

Here's my question to any member of the House who might vote for funds for "constructing roads and canals, and improving the navigation of water courses": Was Madison just plain constitutionally ignorant or has the Constitution been amended to permit such spending?

What about handouts to poor people, businesses, senior citizens and foreigners?

Madison said, "Charity is no part of the legislative duty of the government."

In 1854, President Franklin Piece vetoed a bill to help the mentally ill, saying, "I cannot find any authority in the Constitution for public charity. (To approve the measure) would be contrary to the letter and spirit of the Constitution and subversive to the whole theory upon which the Union of these States is founded."

President Grover Cleveland vetoed a bill for charity relief, saying, "I can find no warrant for such an appropriation in the Constitution, and I do not believe that the power and duty of the General Government ought to be extended to the relief of individual suffering which is in no manner properly related to the public service or benefit."

Again, my question to House members who'd vote for handouts is: Were these leaders just plain constitutionally ignorant or mean-spirited, or has our Constitution been amended to authorize charity?

Suppose a congressman attempts to comply with the new rule by asserting that his measure is authorized by the Constitution's general welfare clause. Here's what Thomas Jefferson said: "Congress has not unlimited powers to provide for the general welfare, but only those specifically enumerated."

Madison added, "With respect to the two words 'general welfare,' I have always regarded them as qualified by the detail of powers connected with them. To take them in a literal and unlimited sense would be a metamorphosis of the Constitution into a character which there is a host of proofs was not contemplated by its creators."

John Adams warned, "A Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom, can never be restored. Liberty, once lost, is lost forever." I am all too afraid that's where our nation stands today and the blame lies with the American people.

Empathy, Compassion And Common Sense

I could have posted about the tragedy that occurred in Tucson last week. But instead, I chose to let the left sink in the pit of quicksand they created for conservatives, but fell into themselves. This post is about leadership, and leadership response to tragedy. We saw it on 9/11 when George Bush took calm control of the war zone in New York, and calmly and seemingly effortlessly guided us through the weeks and months that followed. And we see it again here.

As you watch this video, imagine that Barack Obama is giving it. I tried, but couldn't. He doesn't seem to have the qualities of empathy and compassion. He doessn't seem to have the ability to express those traits if he does have them. And he doesn't seem to have the ability to paint a landscape of America's greatness in words.

So, as you watch this video, ask yourself who appears more presidential. Barack Obama, who often when speaking without a teleprompter seems to falter in his thought process as he searches for words or a phrase, probably because he doesn't "feel" the truth of what his words are meant to convey. Or, Sarah Palin who is obviously comfortable with the words she is using, most likely because they are part of her belief system.

This post is not really about the tragedy that occurred in Tucson last week. It's about leadership, and leadership response.

We have been living in a world increasingly chaotic, increasingly irresponsible, increasingly amoral, increasingly unlawful. We watch events unfold both within our country and our government, as well as in other countries, that we would never have thought possible 20 years ago. Countries around the globe, including our own, are facing dire consequences because of years of governmental intrusion, abuse and corruption.

We have seen our own government become increasingly tyrannical, increasingly fascist-like over the past two years. We witness illegal immigrants, and thus criminals, cross our border daily with no effective, no apparent, response. In fact the government wants to "legalize" these criminals. How is that possible in a Republic where the rule of law is paramount?

We witnessed yesterday a heinous act by a deranged individual, when he shot multiple persons including a nine year old girl, a Congresswoman and a Federal Judge. That act in itself, is despicable enough. But now we have media reports that even include Congresswoman Giffords' own father pointing fingers at the Tea Party.

The alleged shooter was not a member of the Tea Party. If you care to know the truth about him check this link.

But the point of this post is that regardless of how out of control our country is, or the world is, remember that God is always there to support us. So if you haven't, turn to Him. And remember that no person or circumstance can rob you of the presence of God. No one can take your belief from you. Only you have that power. You can choose to believe, or you can choose not to. Neither option can be proved in this world, other than by the acceptance (or not) of miracles.

I choose to believe. I have witnessed miracles in my own life, so I know God exists. That is comforting. And knowing that no matter how much "pain" in inflicted upon us in our lives, He is always there to support us. Many who are skeptical ask "if there is a God, why does he allow things like the Arizona shooting to occur?" And my answer is simple. Because there is also a satan. And while God is there to support us in all things, satan is there to tear us down just as often, and in as many ways, as possible. In our personal lives, in our government, in our world. And while God may not be able to prevent satan from acting, we have a choice in how we react to those things satan places in our paths. We can choose to stand with God and trust in Him, or we can turn away from God and try surviving on our own. The former allows God to work his plan to reward us at some point - in this world or the next. But the latter does not allow Him to work His plan, because we no longer have an open heart to Him.

We are living in trying times. Certainly more trying for some than for others, but historically, this period of world history will be discussed and studied by generations yet to come. And only if we turn to God, will that history turn out good. So join with me and stand with Him!

Issa, House GOP Preparing Major Investigations of Obama Administration - Newsmax, Tuesday, January 4, 2011
President Barack Obama and the Democrats will face a newly invigorated House Republican leadership this week with sweeping plans for congressional investigations into a wide range of issues.

Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., who will become chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee when the 112th Congress is sworn in Wednesday, told The Washington Post he plans to lead six major investigations in the first three months of the year. That will call for a grueling schedule, since congressional investigations often take months to bear fruit.

On Issa’s list:
• WikiLeaks' release of classified diplomatic cables

• Recalls at the Food and Drug Administration

• The role of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in the foreclosure crisis

• The Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission's failure to identify the origins of the meltdown

Issa is sure to make waves, because he’ll have subpoena power to compel officials to appear before his committee. Among the administration officials he’ll be questioning soon is national security adviser Tom Donilon. Issa specifically wants to know whether the administration has a strategy to stop the dissemination of sensitive information on sites such asWikiLeaks.

"I've always been fond of the saying that when it comes to oversight and reform, the federal government does two things well: nothing and overreact," Issa told reporters Monday. "Too often, a problem is allowed to fester until it reaches a crisis point . . . and the American people are left asking the question: What went wrong and why?"
Issa also has asked business groups which Obama administration regulations to target, according to Politico. He sent a letter to 150-plus trade associations, private companies, and think tanks this week.

“As a trade organization comprised of members that must comply with the regulatory state, I ask for your assistance in identifying existing and proposed regulations that have negatively impacted job growth in your members’ industry,” the letter read. “Additionally, suggestions on reforming identified regulations and the rulemaking process would be appreciated.”

Other incoming Republican committee chairmen are planning investigations into the Justice Department's civil rights division, the radicalization of Muslims in the United States, homeland security grant money, and air cargo and port and chemical plant security, the Post reported.

The incoming chairman of the Homeland Security Committee, Rep. Peter King, said he plans to investigate the extent to which American Muslims are cooperating with law enforcement authorities in an effort to measure the radicalization of the U.S. Muslim community. The New York Republican also plans to probe homeland security issues.

"Different from Darrell Issa, I'm not expecting to find significant corruption in the departments," King told the Post. "To the extent there's disagreement, it will be philosophical disagreement and a question of leadership, whether or not the department is assertive enough."
Rep. Lamar Smith, head of the House Judiciary Committee, is planning investigations of the Justice Department, including allegations that the civil rights division is not enforcing voter rights laws fairly.

Since Democrats control the Senate, the White House, and federal agencies, Republicans can use House oversight hearings to slow down policies and practices they disapprove of.

"The ability to hold hearings is a tool to help shape public opinion, put pressure on the Senate and maybe allow you at the end of the day to get concessions from the administration," said former Republican congressman Vin Weber, a Washington lobbyist.

But, Weber added: "Speaker [John] Boehner is quietly insisting that the investigative process be focused on substantive matters and not become a political witch hunt."

Ok, so John Beohner says he's bringing this to the floor for a vote on January 12th. That's all well and good John, but don't be yanking our chain. If you're gonna get us in the game, make sure you're coaching to win!

Everyone is of the opinion that even if it gets past the house, which should be a no-brainer, it'll never get past the Senate. Oh, really?

Has everyone forgotten that there are 33-34 Senators up for re-election in 2012? And of that number, the majority are Democrats? Do you really think the American public will allow ANYONE who doesn't vote for repeal to be re-elected? I'm leaning on the side of "I DON'T THINK SO!"

So let's go folks, start calling your Senators today. Tell them you want them to vote in FAVOR of repeal. Let's put some pressure on these guys. We DO have the power, if we could only learn to use it effectively.

And so our comrade-in-chief will veto it. At least we will have the luxury of pointing out his apparent glee at twarting the will of the public (yet again) AND Congress! How will that play during the elections of 2012?

We Need Noble, Honorable, Visionary Actions From The 112th Congress

There is great anticipation and great expectation of the 112th Congress by the people of this great nation. But with that anticipation and expectation comes great responsibility. For on the shoulders of the 112th Congress will fall the task of proving to the American people that our system of government – a Republic supported by the foundation of the US Constitution – is indeed still viable.

With the growth of Federal Agencies and Departments, the increased dependency on “czars”, and the erosion of the powers of our Constitution over decades as the Federal Government has usurped power never authorized by our Constitution, your task may seem monumental. It will take great commitment, great energy, great wisdom, and great resolve to prove our governmental system still works, and the power does indeed rest with the individual states and/or the people – not the federal government.

The number one task before you is to immediately identify areas where quick spending reductions can be implemented. Then it will be incumbent upon the 112th Congress to tackle the three beasts that have been in the room for decades, beasts that should never have been created – Social Security, Medicaid and Medicare - as well as Obamacare. Those systems need to be reformed and/or repealed, and a system put in place to phase them out entirely over the shortest possible period of time.

Entitlement programs also need to be addressed, reformed, and reduced to minimal levels. They need to include incentives for individuals to abandon the program at the earliest opportunity, instead of the disincentives currently inherent in those systems and programs.

The people currently using those programs will welcome neither of those tasks, but we all know they are necessary if the country is to survive (and hopefully flourish again) long term.

Another area for review is the foreign aid currently given to other countries around the globe. Many of those countries are not our allies, and quite a few, while considered allies, rarely support our positions in the UN. Let’s eliminate aid to anyone who is not an ally of America, reduce aid to those who do not support our positions 75% of the time, and allow the people to give what aid they can/want individually instead of the government confiscating our money and redistributing it around the world. Let's see just how "liberal" our progressive brethren really are when they have to part with their own money.

Controlling spending will automatically influence the reduction of the Deficit. To further that goal, enact a Fair or Flat Tax system, eliminating hundreds of thousands of tax code regulations that few people understand, and which just helps to bloat the size of government and the scope of governmental authority. This will do more to stimulate the economy, short and long term, than any other single action could. It will bring stability to the corporate world and allow future growth decisions by companies to be made with certainty. So long-term planning will occur naturally.

These are just a few areas where we need immediate, decisive and perhaps drastic reform to strengthen America. I imagine there will be a fight within the Republican Party, as more conservative constitutionalists fight the established RINO's. And there will be a fight as well with the Democrats/Progressives, so I hope there is expansive honor, integrity and fortitude for the 112th to stand on the principles that created this great country.

Walk your path knowing that God is watching and will be there to support you. Trust in Him as our Founders did. I am praying for the entire 112th Congress, for we need good, noble, visionary actions from that body, and we are counting on you to lead us from the destructive path we’ve been on for the past 40 years. It is unfortunate that we have been sliding down a much steeper hill the past two years, and the climb back out of the quagmire in which we currently find ourselves will be steep.

This has been around for a while. And though I do not know this man, I am proud to call him Patriot, Hero, Friend to Liberty!

WW II Battleship sailor tells Obama to shape up or ship out ! This venerable and much honored WW II vet is well known in Hawaii for his seventy-plus years of service to patriotic organizations and causes all over the country. A humble man without a political bone in his body, he has never spoken out before about a government official, until now. He dictated this letter to a friend, signed it and mailed it to the president.

Dear President Obama,

My name is Harold Estes, approaching 95 on December 13 of this year. People meeting me for the first time don't believe my age because I remain wrinkle free and pretty much mentally alert. I enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1934 and served proudly before, during and after WW II retiring as a Master Chief Bos'n Mate. Now I live in a "rest home" located on the western end of Pearl Harbor , allowing me to keep alive the memories of 23 years of service to my country.

One of the benefits of my age, perhaps the only one, is to speak my mind, blunt and direct even to the head man. So here goes.

I am amazed, angry and determined not to see my country die before I do, but you seem hell bent not to grant me that wish. I can't figure out what country you are the president of. You fly around the world telling our friends and enemies despicable lies like:

" We're no longer a Christian nation"
" America is arrogant" - (Your wife even announced to the world," America is mean- spirited. " Please tell her to try preaching that nonsense to 23 generations of our war dead buried all over the globe who died for no other reason than to free a whole lot of strangers from tyranny and hopelessness.)

I'd say shame on the both of you, but I don't think you like America, nor do I see an ounce of gratefulness in anything you do, for the obvious gifts this country has given you. To be without shame or gratefulness is a dangerous thing for a man sitting in the White House.

After 9/11 you said," America hasn't lived up to her ideals."

Which ones did you mean? Was it the notion of personal liberty that 11,000 farmers and shopkeepers died for to win independence from the British? Or maybe the ideal that no man should be a slave to another man, that 500,000 men died for in the Civil War? I hope you didn't mean the ideal 470,000 fathers, brothers, husbands, and a lot of fellas I knew personally died for in WWII, because we felt real strongly about not letting any nation push us around, because we stand for freedom.

I don't think you mean the ideal that says equality is better than discrimination. You know the one that a whole lot of white people understood when they helped to get you elected.

Take a little advice from a very old geezer, young man.

Shape up and start acting like an American. If you don't, I'll do what I can to see you get shipped out of that fancy rental on Pennsylvania Avenue . You were elected to lead not to bow, apologize and kiss the hands of murderers and corrupt leaders who still treat their people like slaves.

And just who do you think you are telling the American people not to jump to conclusions and condemn that Muslim major who killed 13 of his fellow soldiers and wounded dozens more. You mean you don't want us to do what you did when that white cop used force to subdue that black college professor in Massachusetts , who was putting up a fight? You don't mind offending the police calling them stupid but you don't want us to offend Muslim fanatics by calling them what they are, terrorists.

One more thing. I realize you never served in the military and never had to defend your country with your life, but you're the Commander-in-Chief now, son. Do your job. When your battle-hardened field General asks you for 40,000 more troops to complete the mission, give them to him. But if you're not in this fight to win, then get out. The life of one American soldier is not worth the best political strategy you're thinking of.

You could be our greatest president because you face the greatest challenge ever presented to any president.
You're not going to restore American greatness by bringing back our bloated economy. That's not our greatest threat. Losing the heart and soul of who we are as Americans is our big fight now.

And I sure as hell don't want to think my president is the enemy in this final battle...

I Could Not Be More Disappointed With The 111th Congress, Even If I Wanted To

The American people demonstrated their disgust for the 111th Congress on November 2nd. The message we sent at the polls could not have been more clear. And yet, this tyrannical Congress has ignored the will of We the People, and continued working with contempt against us to forward their own big government/socialistic agenda, as if we had actually embraced and revered them in that election. Anyone in the 111th Congress who will not also be part of the 112th Congress, who voted during this lame-duck session, should be sent to jail. In my opinion, they have acted treasonously, and without the authority of the American people. No member of Congress who is voted out of office should have the power of a vote - ever. The people have already assessed their judgement and decision-making capabilities and found them to be lacking! And too much damage can occur, as we've witnessed these past few weeks.

So, how do we go about fixing the crap that's been passed? Write or call your new Senators and Representatives. Get them involved. We may not have much success with what's passed lately, but we can surely prevent it from happening again!

Islamolitics: Political Jihad In America

The political process in America has been hijacked by political jihadists. My opinion is based upon three facets of Islam and the Quran. They are all things you may not know about Islam, but which are also present in American politics. Why we have accepted them, and allowed them to flourish, is anyone's guess. But with the rise of the Tea Party Movement, it's now the opportune time to defend ourselves against Islamolitics. Here are the three things.

In Islam, there is a belief in Shari'a Law and Allah, there is no belief in God or God's laws. The same can be said for our government, particularly over the past 50 years. While America was founded on Judeo-Christian values and the "laws" of the 10 Commandments, we are no longer that nation. We have morphed from a country under the 'rule of law' to a country under the "rule of man'. How else can you justify murdering unborn children? How can you justify taking God out of our schools and public institutions? How can you justify the existence of social justice over equal justice for all? None of these can be found in "nature's law". Many laws these days are created because of a person's (or peoples) feelings - and not based upon principle, logic, common sense, integrity or God's Law.

In Islam, striving to institute worldwide Shari'a Law is a required duty. So it would seem that progressive Democrats and Republicans feel the required duty to institute laws, programs and regulations, create agencies, and appoint Judges and Czars, for the sole purpose of pushing their progressive agenda to control our lives, much like Shari'a Law does in the Islamic cultures.

And perhaps most noticeable is the political comparison to the Islamic concept of Taqiyya. In Islam, Taqiyya allows Muslims to lie at will, in fact it commands them to deceive all non-Muslims, in an effort to convert them to Islam. How often do we find our politicians lying to us? How many times to they misrepresent the truth? How often do they play semantics to push an idea or an agenda? How often do they fail to provide complete information relative to the scope of an issue so that we can make informed judgements and decisions? Does that happen weekly? Daily? Several times a day? In every public discussion in which a politician engages? Several time during that discussion? Like stars in the universe, the lies. omissions and half-truths from our politicians are too numerous to count.

Islam is at war with the world, and will be until Shari'a law is the law everywhere. And progressives are at war with the Constitution, and the very fabric of America, until they can break her down and "transform" her into something different.

And so, a political Jihad against America, her Judeo-Christian faith, her institutions, her values, her founders, and her ideals is likely to continue for decades (at least). Like an Islamist Holy Jihad, progressives will not stop of their own free will until they have reached their goal. Thus, it falls to us to stop them. We started that process this past November. But these political jihadists are not going away. They may retreat to regroup, and to develop a new, more comprehensive strategy. But if we are not vigilant, when they come back (which they will) in force, we will be ill prepared to meet that challenge.

God has given us the opportunity to regain our foothold in America's future. What we choose to do with that foothold will ultimately define the future of America. We can use that foothold to rest on our laurels, or we can use it to repair the foundation of America, to make that foundation stronger and able to withstand the onslaught that will surely come at some point in the future. It's to each of us to decide. I choose rebuild and repair!

Here's an update on Lt. Col. Lakin's upcoming Court Martial proceeding. You know something is definitely up when the military can't get documents and information during the "discovery" phase of a court martial proceeding. So what is it?

Retired Air Force Lt. Gen. Thomas McInerney predicts the incoming Republican-controlled House of Representatives will launch an investigation if Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin is convicted in next week's court martial.

Lakin is on trial for refusing to obey orders to deploy to Afghanistan. He challenged the orders because he questions President Barack Obama's eligibility to serve as commander-in-chief of the armed forces. His court martial is scheduled to begin Dec. 14.

"It looks like he's not being treated fairly," said McInerney in an interview Friday on Denver talk radio station KHOW.

"It's important that he gets a fair trial, which means discovery. Since the Army will not allow that I believe in the final analysis that this will be overturned, but he may have to go to the slammer in Ft. Leavenworth."

Lakin had hoped through the discovery process to force Obama to produce documentary evidence demonstrating his birth and citizenship status so that Obama's authority to give orders as commander-in-chief would be demonstrated or disproven.

As reported earlier by WND, court martial judge Col. Denise Lind, however, simply declared the orders received by Lakin were valid. Lind refused to allow Lakin to address the underlying eligibility issues and limited the scope of the trial to whether Lakin had knowingly disobeyed orders.

McInerney called on Congress to "do its job" and determine whether Obama is constitutionally eligible to serve as president.

"[Lakin] really had a very important point. He is not a birther, he is a constitutionalist," said McInerney. "Now it shouldn't be the job of a lieutenant colonel and flight surgeon in the U.S. Army to be the constitutionalist. It's the job of the Congress and the executive agency to do that. But we've had 44 presidents of the United States and only one, the current president, has not shown a valid birth certificate."

McInerney suggested Lakin is certain to be convicted if the court martial proceeds.

"The outcome is evident to me that this is a slam dunk," said McInerney. "They're not going to let him really talk about it. They're avoiding the issue.

"The way they conduct themselves is going to be extremely important for the follow-on investigation for the House of Representatives," added McInerney, who said the House Armed Services Committee could hold hearings to determine whether the military handled the case properly.

"The smartest thing the Army could do is not to have [the trial]," said McInerney, who suggested the court should let the case go "low profile."

"I don't think they're going to do that. They're going to make the mistake of trying him, and then you're going to have a court of record that will condemn them for the way they conducted it."

McInerney held up his own treatment by the trial judge to illustrate the unfairness of the proceedings thus far. Lind has refused to allow McInerney or any other expert witness requested by the defense to testify at Lakin's court martial. She has also refused to permit Lakin to present any evidence or arguments in his own defense that might justify his decision to disobey orders.

"The judge in this particular case said I do not know enough about the Army to be able to understand the Army's position on the Uniform Code of Military Justice," said McInerney, who added he once commanded an army division in Alaska as part of a joint Army-Air Force command.

"I am intimately familiar with the Uniform Code of Military Justice," said McInerney. "But you get a judge ... who says that I as a three-star general who had general court martial authority do not know enough about the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Dr. Terry Lakin is not going to get a fair trial in this particular proceeding."

McInerney was asked by the defense to testify about when a soldier is trained to disobey orders he believes are illegal.

I was listening to the radio this morning when I heard this tidbit of information. The rights to two Uranium Mines in Wyoming have been sold to a Russian company. Now, guess what the name of the company is? Are you ready.....

No idea what the acronym means, but... Geez, could the government be any more inept? How could this sale be approved? Uranium? To Russia? Can you say nuclear weapons? Or how about nuclear energy? And Russian ARMZ? That's like Santa selling Christmas to Scrooge, and Scrooge calling the company "No More Toys For You!". How much clearer do things need to be?

This is but just one more nail in the coffin that allows obama to see his vision of a greener energy program come to fruition in America, which includes Cap & Trade, and also helps distribute a little more of America's wealth to other nations. Way to go obama!

I keep praying to wake up one morning to find this has all just been a nightmare, but I don't think God's listening to me right now...

Flag Retreat Ceremony

I've heard about it, but never witnessed it. So many times I've been to Disney World and never really knew it existed. But I was honored to stumble upon it last night, at 5:00pm, as I was leaving the Magic Kingdom. As we made our way from Main Street to the entrance plaza just inside the park, we were greeted by a half dozen horns just starting into the song America, The Beautiful. The musicians were strung along the upper tier by the railway station. Upon completion they marched down the steps to the center of the plaza, where a huge American flag flew high overhead. And began reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. A good sized group of us had congregated around the area, and proudly joined in. I had my three year old grandson with me, and he held his hand proudly over his heart. Very impressive! From there the band played the Star Spangled Banner, and as they did so, the honor guard standing by began to lower the flag. Upon completion of the Star Spangled Banner, and the lowering of the flag, there was a short tribute to the "veteran of the day" - on this day he happened to be from Mississippi. And then the band started into playing every one of the military theme songs. It was an awesome experience, and one I wish I was present for more often. I am told it is a nightly tradition, and I look forward to seeing it next time I'm at the park. If you have the chance, check it out!

More and more we are seeing communism and socialism openly celebrated in America. What ever happened to the FBI? Didn't we fight world wars against those two ideologies? Didn't brave men die for those causes? Did they do so in vain? Only to provide America an extra 1/2 century of illusional freedom? Was it all about smoke and mirrors even back then? My money is on the Veteran who fought in all the wars since WWII. This is fairly old news, but worth revisiting here. In 2009, President Obama Chaired the UN Security Council, which appears to be illegal under the Constitution. I have written to a couple of Senators (DeMint, LeMieux) to see if they can enlighten me as to whether or not Congress authorized this appointment. We'll see what they say. If I get an appropriate response that contains an explanation, I'll update this post! Interestingly, I also tried to send messages to both my Rep Bill Posey and Rep Ron Paul. Both attempts ended with an error message. Although I made a couple of attempts, I was unable to connect to them. Perhaps the House server is down? Hmmm, that's odd...

Fascism Or Secession, What Would Your Choice Be?

Maybe it's time to start thinking about that question. And if it comes down to it, how would you move your family and/or your business, to a State that might choose secession? I came across this article and began thinking about what will happen if we become a fascist government or worse. Then I asked myself, am I being too dramatic here, am I reading too much into what is going on in our country? Am I an alarmist? And then I answered myself, self, if you are there's not really much harm in it. The worse that can happen is you've prepared for something that will never come to pass. And I realized I'm ok with that. After reading this, ask yourself just how fair elections in America really are when it comes to the representation we get in the House. Time for some changes that will create fair elections!

Charlie Rangel, convicted of 11 ethics violations - the most ever found against any member of Congress - was resoundingly re-elected Nov. 2, getting 80 percent of his district's vote. After 40 years representing these folks, you can't conclude he was an unknown commodity. Granted, the conviction occurred after the election, but the charges were well-publicized.

I have a situation and I would appreciate your help, IF you have the time. My son's school did a play last night and it was promoting a one world government. My son has the teacher that was in charge of the play and if I make a big deal about it, she could punish my 8 yr old son and lower his grade due to my actions. : )

My boyfriend, Rusty, posted this and that even worried me some. It was called "World of Champions" and it ended with the kids singing John Lennon's "Imagine" song. 5 countries/continents were featured: USA, China, Mexico, Africa and The Philippines. As you can see in this picture that I took, 4 flags are featured behind the stage. Oddly, the American Flag was missing. I couldn't find it anywhere in the gym. The program was done the night before the kids got out for Thanksgiving. You would expect it to be a "Thanksgiving" play, but that was never mentioned.

The first thing we noticed when walking into the gym was the communist hammer and sickle on the star in the Chinese flag. It is hard to see in this photo, but it is there. We looked up the flag and did not find the hammer and sickle on the current Chinese flag. Why that was added and the American flag was missing really bothers me. I think this is a big deal as do some other parents last night. I am hoping maybe you could help me bring light to this, yet not get my innocent little boy involved.

An armed society, using vigilance, and able to defend THEMSELVES, is the only deterrent to a government (a small number of ruling elite) that gets the grand idea that they may know more than you what's best for you, and want to force you to abide by their vision for your life.

On The Lighter Side: Pocket Taser Stun Gun

I received this as an email. I laughed like crazy; I hope it makes you laugh too! Here goes...

A Pocket Taser Stun Gun is a great gift for the wife. A guy who purchased his lovely wife a pocket Taser for their anniversary submitted this:

Last weekend I saw something at Larry's Pistol & Pawn Shop that sparked my interest.. The occasion was our 15th anniversary and I was looking for a little something extra for my wife Julie.

What I came across was a 100,000-volt, pocket/purse-sized taser. The effects of the taser were supposed to be short lived, with no long-term adverse affect on your assailant, allowing her adequate time to retreat to safety....??

WAY TOO COOL!

Long story short, I bought the device and brought it home. I loaded two AAA batteries in the darn thing and pushed the button.

Nothing! I was disappointed.

I learned, however, that if I pushed the button AND pressed it against a metal surface at the same time; I'd get the blue arc of electricity darting back and forth between the prongs.

AWESOME!!!

Unfortunately, I have yet to explain to Julie what that burn spot is on the face of her microwave.

Okay, so I was home alone with this new toy, thinking to myself that it couldn't be all that bad with only two triple-A batteries, right?

There I sat in my recliner, my cat Gracie looking on intently (trusting little soul) while I was reading the directions and thinking that I really needed to try this thing out on a flesh & blood moving target.

I must admit I thought about zapping Gracie (for a fraction of a second) and thought better of it. She is such a sweet cat.

But, if I was going to give this thing to my wife to protect herself against a mugger, I did want some assurance that it would work as advertised.

Am I wrong?

So, there I sat in a pair of shorts and a tank top with my reading glasses perched delicately on the bridge of my nose, directions in one hand, and taser in another.

The directions said that a one-second burst would shock and disorient your assailant; a two-second burst was supposed to cause muscle spasms and a major loss of bodily control; a three-second burst would purportedly make your assailant flop on the ground like a fish out of water. Any burst longer than three seconds would be wasting the batteries.

All the while I'm looking at this little device measuring about 5'' long, less than 3/4 inch in circumference; pretty cute really and (loaded with two itsy, bitsy triple- A batteries) thinking to myself, 'no possible way!'

What happened next is almost beyond description, but I'll do my best...

I'm sitting there alone, Gracie looking on with her head cocked to one side as to say, 'don't do it dipshit,' reasoning that a one second burst from such a tiny little ole thing couldn't hurt all that bad.

I decided to give myself a one second burst just for heck of it. I touched the prongs to my naked thigh, pushed the button, and . ..

HOLY MOTHER OF GOD . . . WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION . .. . WHAT THE HELL!!!

I'm pretty sure Jessie Ventura ran in through the side door, picked me up in the recliner, then body slammed us both on the carpet, over and over and over again.

I vaguely recall waking up on my side in the fetal position, with tears in my eyes, body soaking wet, both nipples on fire , testicles nowhere to be found, with my left arm tucked under my body in the oddest position, and tingling in my legs?

The cat was making meowing sounds I had never heard before, clinging to a picture frame hanging above the fireplace, obviously in an attempt to avoid getting slammed by my body flopping all over the living room.

Note: If you ever feel compelled to 'mug' yourself with a taser, one note of caution: there is no such thing as a one second burst when you zap yourself!

You will not let go of that thing until it is dislodged from your hand by a violent thrashing about on the floor. A three second burst would be considered conservative?

SON-OF-A-BITCH, THAT HURT LIKE HELL!!!

A minute or so later (I can't be sure, as time was a relative thing at that point), I collected my wits (what little I had left) , sat up and surveyed the landscape.

My bent reading glasses were on the mantel of the fireplace. The recliner was upside down and about 8 feet or so from where it originally was. My triceps, right thigh and both nipples were still twitching.

My face felt like it had been shot up with Novocain, and my bottom lip weighed 88 lbs. I had no control over the drooling.

Apparently I shit myself, but was too numb to know for sure and my sense of smell was gone. I saw a faint smoke cloud above my head which I believe came from my hair.

I'm still looking for my nuts and I'm offering a significant reward for their safe return!!

P. S. My wife loved the gift, and now regularly threatens me with it!

(5) WARRANT OFFICERS.Warrant officers may be appointed to the Service for the purpose of providing support to the health and delivery systems maintained by the Service and any warrant officer appointed to the Service shall be considered for purposes of this Act and title 37, United States Code, to be a commissioned officer within the Commissioned Corps of the Service. (b) ASSIMILATING RESERVE CORP OFFICERS INTO THE REGULAR CORPS.—Effective on the date of enactment of the Affordable Health Choices Act, all individuals classified as officers in the Reserve Corps under this section (as such section existed on the day before the date of enactment of such Act) and serving on active duty shall be deemed to be commissioned officers of the Regular Corps. [Note here that those personally appointed by BO -- without advice and consent of the Senate -- automatically become a part of the Regular Corps. Ed.] (c) PURPOSE AND USE OF READY RESERVE. (1) PURPOSE.The purpose of the Ready Reserve Corps is to fulfill the need to have additional Commissioned Corps personnel available on short notice (similar to the uniformed services reserve program) to assist regular Commissioned Corps personnel to meet both routine public health and emergency response missions. (2) USES.The Ready Reserve Corps shall (A) participate in routine training to meet the general and specific needs of the Commissioned Corps; (B) be available and ready for involuntary calls to active duty during national emergencies and public health crises, similar to the uniformed service reserve personnel; (C) be available for backfilling critical positions left vacant during deployment of active duty Commissioned Corps members, as well as for deployment to respond to public health emergencies, both foreign and domestic; and (D) be available for service assignment in isolated, hardship, and medically underserved communities (as defined in section 399SS) to improve access to health services. Some of the minor terms of the agreement may need to be amended somewhat, but the major ones I'm pretty much in agreement on. Yeah, I'm pretty much ready for a divorce...

Dear American liberals, leftists, social progressives, socialists, Marxists and Obama supporters, et al:

We have stuck together since the late 1950's for the sake of the kids, but the whole of this latest election process has made me realize that I want a divorce. I know we tolerated each other for many years for the sake of future generations, but sadly, this relationship has clearly run its course.

Our two ideological sides of America cannot and will not ever agree on what is right for us all, so let's just end it on friendly terms. We can smile and chalk it up to irreconcilable differences and go our own way.

Here is a model separation agreement: Our two groups can equitably divide up the country by landmass each taking a similar portion. That will be the difficult part, but I am sure our two sides can come to a friendly agreement. After that, it should be relatively easy! Our respective representatives can effortlessly divide other assets since both sides have such distinct and disparate tastes.

We don't like redistributive taxes so you can keep them. You are welcome to the liberal judges and the ACLU. Since you hate guns and war, we'll take our firearms, the cops, the NRA and the military. We'll take the nasty, smelly oil industry and you can go with wind, solar and biodiesel. You can keep Oprah, Michael Moore and Rosie O'Donnell. You are, however, responsible for finding a bio-diesel vehicle big enough to move all three of them.

We'll keep capitalism, greedy corporations, pharmaceutical companies, Wal-Mart and Wall Street. You can have your beloved lifelong welfare dwellers, food stamps, homeless, homeboys, hippies, druggies and illegal aliens. We'll keep the hot Alaskan hockey moms, greedy CEO's and rednecks. We'll keep the Bibles and give you NBC and Hollywood.

You can make nice with Iran and Palestine and we'll retain the right to invade and hammer places that threaten us. You can have the peaceniks and war protesters. When our allies or our way of life are under assault, we'll help provide them security.

We'll keep our Judeo-Christian values. You are welcome to Islam, Scientology, Humanism, political correctness and Shirley McClain. You can also have the U.N. but we will no longer be paying the bill.

We'll keep the SUV's, pickup trucks and oversized luxury cars. You can take every Subaru station wagon you can find.

You can give everyone healthcare if you can find any practicing doctors. We'll continue to believe healthcare is a luxury and not a right. We'll keep "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" and "The National Anthem." I'm sure you'll be happy to substitute "Imagine", "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing", "Kum Ba Ya" or "We Are the World".

We'll practice trickle down economics and you can continue to give trickle up poverty your best shot. Since it often so offends you, we'll keep our history, our name and our flag.

There are 32 Senators up for re-election in 2012. Twenty one of them are Democrats, 2 are "independents", and nine are Republicans, some of whom are RINO's. We have an opportunity over the next two years to pressure each and everyone of them to side with the conservative Republicans currently in office as well as those we just elected and are sending to Washington on repealing Obamacare, cutting spending initially to 2000 levels, squashing Cap and Trade, squashing the Dream Act, getting serious about securing our borders and enforcing existing immigration laws, and beginning the process of returning to sound Constitutional law in America. We may never have a better opportunity than this.

So, for all of you who have a Senator up for re-election in 2012, of which I am one (Bill Nelson, Dem, of Florida; think he got the message?), if you haven't already, start an active dialogue with that Senator and know exactly where he stands and how he votes on these issues. Obviously a judge in Oklahoma sees no problem with it. And while 70% of Oklahomans voted to prevent Shari'a Law from being used to decide cases in that state, 30% voted for it! Take a look at this, and then you decide! Is this something you would want for your wife? Your daughter? Your girlfriend? A friend? Yourself? Some of the images here are quite graphic, so be prepared. Maybe now you'll realize that maybe there's a practical reason why Islamic women are required to wear face coverings. And why they are hardly ever, if ever, seen without full-length burkas. God be merciful on these women, they've seen Hell, lived Hell, are still living in Hell! Take a solid, unmovable, unwavering stand against Shari'a Law in America. Not one single facet should be accepted, no matter how benign it is portrayed by Islamists or our government. As President Obama huddles with world leaders for the G-20 summit in South Korea to weigh proposals aimed at stabilizing the global economy, one idea being pushed is a so-called “Robin Hood tax,” aimed at collecting money from rich nations to give to the poor.

The Robin Hood tax — a global financial transaction fee that could raise hundreds of billions of dollars to pay the cost of the global financial crisis and support developing nations struggling to recover — is not popular.

While Britain, France and Germany have championed a bank tax for all G-20 nations, finance chiefs from the industrialized nations shot down the idea at a previous summit held in Toronto last summer.

Still, the tax’s supporters, which include unions, environmental groups, Comic Relief, UNICEF and others is a multinational coalition, say the tax could go to canceling debt from poor nations. Or it could be used for social programs to fight hunger, diseases such as HIV/AIDS and malaria or other causes, programs to which the United States and other nations already donate billions.

The crusaders — a coalition of 183 organizations from 42 countries — issued a plea this week urging leaders at the G-20 summit in South Korea to adopt the measure. While specifics have not been outlined, the idea would be to charge a small transaction fee, anywhere from 0.05 percent to 1 percent, on each stock transaction made.

In a letter to G-20 leaders, including Obama, the coalition wrote that the tax would help meet the costs “of the global financial and economic crisis, including reducing the unacceptably high rate of job loss, and achieve key development, health, education and climate change objectives in developing countries.”

Alright, I just got finished watching Glenn Beck lay out his 3-day case against George Soros. I'm sure those of you who read the posts on this blog are aware of who Soros is, and what he has done. But for those of you reading this because it's posted to FB, or because it's been forwarded to you, who don't know who and what he is - here's a the briefest of explanations.

George Soros is one of the richest, most powerful, most influential people on the face of the earth. He is responsible for crashing economies in four countries - including Russia and England. He has made it clear that America is his next target.

When you research him, you might come to the realization that he is a sociopath. Rich, yes, but a sociopath none-the-less. And he considers his interference in the economies of countries a distraction, a game. Listening to his words I was reminded of a game I used to play decades ago. It was a game I used to play on my Intelivision console. It was called Utopia. Well, George Soros is playing Utopia with real countries, real people, real lives.

Now we have a decision to make. Do we believe the case layed out by Glenn Beck and go out and research the things he says to find out how true they really are, or do we believe, ignorantly, without doing any research, that it's impossible for something like that to happen in America. That it could never happen here! This is America for crying out loud.

But what happens to you, if you choose not to do research, IF George Soros does have us in his sights? Are you prepared to face that challenge? Have you stocked up on food? Have you shed your debt as much as possible? Will you be able to survive food, energy, gas, clothing prices 10-25% higher that they are today if inflation kicks in? What about if hyper-inflation hits? Are you prepared for that?

George Soros has crashed four currencies already. He gloats about his last - England. He claims the United States is the only thing that stands in his way in accomplishing his vision of a New World Order. That may encompass an "Open Society", he owns the Open Society Institute. It might mean a world without borders, with one currency, one bank, one government. One ruler...

Are You Ready To Take Off Your Skirt!

First posted last November, given the recent news that there are at least 35 Islamic compounds currently operational in America; given the recent OK court decision to restrain a law preventing international or sharia law from being used to decide cases in Oklahoma; and given recent videos of Islamic clerics forthrightly stating that there is jihad being waged on America and at some point an Islamic flag will fly over the White House, I thought it pertinent to repost. But this time I have a couple of questions as well. We have fought long and hard in this country for equal rights, so why would we allow the adoption of law hundreds of years (perhaps thousands of years) less enlightened than ours? At the risk of sounding condescending and/or arrogant, generally speaking, are American women so politcally apathetic (or ignorant) that they would even chance this happening? NOVERMBER 2009 - I never thought I'd say something like this, or think something like this. But you have to admit that we are in strange times, and thinking outside the box may be the only thing that gives us insight into our future. And after reading the article below, and after considering ALL the events in the world over the past 9 years involving Muslims, I believe fervently that Muslims are not our friends. Nor will they ever be. If that offends someone, so be it. I contend that those who are offended are either naive or mentally incompetent. The facts speak for themselves.

President Obama claims he is not a Muslim. But he grew up and was educated in Indonesia. Here is some info that may shed light on his personal leanings towards the Muslim religion. Like sitting in the pews of Jeremiah Wright for 20 years influenced him, so too growing up in Indonesia had to have influenced his perception of Muslims and Shariah Law.

In the Muslim faith a Muslim man can marry a child as young as 1 year old and have sexual intimacy with this child, consummating the marriage by 9.

The dowry is given to the family in exchange for the woman (who becomes his slave) and for the purchase of the private parts of the woman, to use her as a toy.

Even though a woman is abused she can not obtain a divorce. To prove rape, the woman must have (4) male witnesses.

Often after a woman has been raped, she is returned to her family and the family must return the dowry. The family has the right to execute her (an honor killing) to restore the honor of the family. A husband can beat his wives 'at will' and he does not have to say why he has beaten her.

The husband is permitted to have (4 wives) and a temporary wife for an hour (prostitute) at his discretion. The Shariah Muslim law controls the private as well as the public life of the woman.

In the West World (America) Muslim men are starting to demand Shariah Law so the wife can not obtain a divorce and he can have full and complete control of her. It is amazing and alarming how many of our sisters and daughters attending American Universities are now marrying Muslim men and submitting themselves and their children unsuspectingly to the Shariah law.

By passing this on, enlightened American women may avoid becoming a slave under Shariah Law.

Ripping the West in Two.

Author and lecturer Nonie Darwish says the goal of radical Islamists is to impose Shariah law on the world, ripping Western law and liberty in two.

She recently authored the book, Cruel and Usual Punishment: The Terrifying Global Implications of Islamic Law.

Darwish was born in Cairo and spent her childhood in Egypt and Gaza before immigrating to America in 1978, when she was eight years old. Her father died while leading covert attacks on Israel. He was a high-ranking Egyptian military officer stationed with his family in Gaza. When he died, he was considered a "shahid," a martyr for jihad. His posthumous status earned Nonie and her family an elevated position in Muslim society.

But Darwish developed a skeptical eye at an early age. She questioned her own Muslim culture and upbringing. She converted to Christianity after hearing a Christian preacher on television.

In her latest book, Darwish warns about creeping sharia law - what it is, what it means, and how it is manifested in Islamic countries.

For the West, she says radical Islamists are working to impose sharia on the world. If that happens, Western civilization will be destroyed. Westerners generally assume all religions encourage a respect for the dignity of each individual. Islamic law (Sharia) teaches that non-Muslims should be subjugated or killed in this world.

Peace and prosperity for one's children is not as important as assuring that Islamic law rules everywhere in the Middle East and eventually in the world.

While Westerners tend to think that all religions encourage some form of the golden rule, Sharia teaches two systems of ethics - one for Muslims and another for non-Muslims. Building on tribal practices of the seventh century, Sharia encourages the side of humanity that wants to take from and subjugate others.

While Westerners tend to think in terms of religious people developing a personal understanding of and relationship with God, Sharia advocates executing people who ask difficult questions that could be interpreted as criticism.

It's hard to imagine, that in this day and age, Islamic scholars agree that those who criticize Islam or choose to stop being Muslim should be executed. Sadly, while talk of an Islamic reformation is common and even assumed by many in the West, such murmurings in the Middle East are silenced through intimidation.

While Westerners are accustomed to an increase in religious tolerance over time, Darwish explains how petro dollars are being used to grow an extremely intolerant form of political Islam in her native Egypt and elsewhere.

In twenty years there will be enough Muslim voters in the U.S. to elect the President by themselves! Rest assured they will do so... You can look at how they have taken over several towns in the USA.. Dearborn Mich. is one... and there are others...

I think everyone in the U.S. should be required to read this, but with the ACLU, there is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us sends it on! As more and more Muslims enter this country, America is being drawn closer and closer into a Religious War between Christians, Jews and Radical Islam who will insist that America become an Islamist Nation. If Obama is still President when this Religious War begins, he will support Islam. There is no question that Americans need to take action now, before they are outnumbered by Radical Islam who will win the War for Allah and subject everyone in America to Sharia Law.

It is too bad that so many are disillusioned with life and Christianity to accept Muslims as peaceful.. some may be but they have an army that is willing to shed blood in the name of Islam.. the peaceful support the warriors with their finances and own kind of patriotism to their religion.. While America is getting rid of Christianity from all public sites and erasing God from the lives of children the Muslims are planning a great jihad on America ..

So I say again, be careful; Many, many thousands (perhaps millions) of Muslims are not our friends!

Barely a week after the Republicans saw a tidal wave of victories in the midterm elections, members of the GOP establishment are already fighting back against the very policies that helped bring this new group of conservatives into office.

Senator Jim DeMint of South Carolina who is pushing for a moratorium on earmarks told The Hill that, “Americans want Congress to shut down the earmark favor factory, and next week I believe House and Senate Republicans will unite to stop pork barrel spending,” DeMint said in a statement. “Instead of spending time chasing money for pet projects, lawmakers will be able to focus on balancing the budget, reforming the tax code and repealing the costly health care takeover.”

Can I get an Amen?

Unfortunately, The Politico reported today that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell has been working behind closed doors to convince the new crop of “tea party” conservatives that they need to keep an open mind when it comes to “earmarks.”

The Politico stories explains that “McConnell’s heightened activity signals what Senate insiders say is real fear among senior members — that the DeMint plan actually stands a serious chance of passing. And that could have uncomfortable implications for a bloc of GOP senators — like McConnell, a member of the Appropriations Committee — who annually send hundreds of millions of dollars for projects in their home states.”

So let me get this straight the GOP establishment is scared that they might actually succeed in putting an end to earmarks and somehow this is a bad thing? Well pardon me, but I thought the whole reason that people were supposed to Republican was because this was the party that would actually get rid of pork barrel spending.

While we all knew at some point that the “business as usual” Republican establishment would eventually try to move the party back towards many of the same habits that got them in the minority in the first place, I was hoping that my libertarian fantasy would have lasted at least until the new Congress took over.

But alas the honeymoon is over…

The Whole Is Much Greater Than The Sum Of It's Parts

If you are a oldies music fan, you will remember the Beatles. Certainly they demonstrate this concept, as even as talented they were as individuals they did not garner the respect or attention that they did as a group. If you're a baseball fan - how about those '67 Red Sox - from last to first and a pennant! A Dream Team! They had some great individualise on that team, but none greater than the team! If you're into racing, by all accounts an "individual" sport, you still need the other racers in order to excel - drafting, bumping, etc.

So it is with the Tea Party movement. Although there are a multitude of "grassroots tea party organizations" out there, the whole is greater than any of those individual "units". Here's a story you may like. It's about the "whole", it's about teamwork. It's about each "individual" and each "unit" knowing it's responsibility to the "whole", and accepting and executing those responsibilities for the greater good of the whole.

We need to be careful not to allow our success during this election to "go to our heads" and give us a false impression of our own value. We are all only as good as the whole, and the whole is better than any one of us! So don't lose sight of the goal! I doubt it will happen, but you never know.

While this story is geared towards the business community, one can easily see how it applies to the Tea Party movement.

If we share a common direction and a sense of community, we can get where we are going more quickly and easily because we are traveling on the thrust of one another!

Whenever a goose falls out of formation, it suddenly feels the drag and resistance of trying to fly alone, and quickly gets back into formation to take advantage of the lifting power of the bird immediately in front.

If we have as much sense as geese, we will stay in formation with those who are headed where we want to go, and we will be willing to accept their help as well as give ours to others.

When the lead goose gets tired, it rotates back into formation and another goose flies at the point position.

If we take turns doing the hard tasks and sharing leadership as with the geese, we become interdependent with one another.

The geese in formation honk from behind to encourage those up front to keep up their speed. If we “honk,” we need to make sure it is positive and encouraging. When a goose gets sick or wounded or is shot down, two geese drop out of formation and follow it down to help and protect it. They stay with it until it is able to fly again or dies. They then launch out on their own, with another formation or catch up with the flock.

If we have as much sense as geese, we too will stand by each other in difficult times, as well as when we are strong. Let us all try to fly in formation and remember to drop back to help those who might need it! BEHOLD THE POWER OF TEAMWORK

The greatest accomplishments in life are not achieved by individuals alone, but by proactive people pulling together for a common good. Look behind every winner and you will find a great coach. Republican Establishment Trying To Derail Tea Party?

After seeing what happened to mostly "moderate" Democrats and some Rino's on November 2nd, the Republican Establishment seems intent on creating decisive rhetoric to derail the Tea Party movement, perhaps hoping to diffuse some of the power Tea Party candidates (and those regular folk claiming to support that movement) have seized this election cycle. They are scared.

They are afraid that their agenda of "get along politics, as you Dems pull us further and further to the right" in order to keep their "good ol' boy" clique in power may be coming to a screeching halt. they are afraid they may be outed for who and what they are - moderate progressives, RINO's!

And so they have taken the propaganda offensive to minimize the impact the Tea party really will have in this Congress and in future Congresses. Don't let them fool you! And as for Jim DeMint? Man, I love that guy...

GOP congressman says Palin cost Republicans control of Senate

A GOP congressman from Alabama has given fresh fuel to a growing debate within the Republican Party over its failure to take control of the Senate amid last week's enormous GOP wave on Election Day. Nine-term Rep. Spencer Bachus, in line to head the House Financial Services Committee, has laid blame for that setback at the feet of Sarah Palin.

As first reported by the Shelby County Reporter's Jan Griffey, Bachus told members of a chamber of commerce in his district that Palin's tea party choices sank GOP chances in the Senate.
"The Senate would be Republican today except for states [in which Palin endorsed candidates] like Christine O'Donnell in Delaware," Bachus told the South Shelby Chamber of Commerce. "Sarah Palin cost us control of the Senate."

According to Bachus, that means Republicans aren't really in charge in Washington. "You can wipe that thought from your mind," he said. "Democrats are in control of the presidency and the Senate. It would take 67 votes to override any veto."

That's not to say Bachus, who is considered a staunch conservative, is anti-tea party.
He told the chamber while tea party candidates did well in House races, the movement's picks in the Senate "didn't do well at all."

Palin aide Rebecca Mansour responded to Bachus via Twitter Monday night, suggesting the blame should not fall on Palin, but rather on the candidates who lost. Mansour did not mention O'Donnell, whom Palin endorsed in this summer's GOP primary, but she cited three losing candidates whom Palin did not endorse: Dino Rossi in Washington, Ken Buck in Colorado and Linda McMahon in Connecticut. She also listed three whom Palin did support—Carly Fiorina in California, John Raese in West Virginia and Sharron Angle in Nevada—though she added that Palin did not endorse Angle in the GOP primary.

"Sarah Palin didn't cost the GOP the Senate," Mansour said in a Twitter message. "We were nowhere near winning control of the Senate. Deal with it Beltway GOP."

Bachus is the first Washington Republican specifically to blame Palin for the loss of the Senate, but other leading GOPers have been pointing fingers at another tea party leader, South Carolina Sen. Jim DeMint. Both Lindsey Graham, DeMint's Senate colleague from South Carolina, and former Senate GOP leader Trent Lott took barely veiled jabs at DeMint, each telling Politico that the GOP had not nominated its best candidates in 2010.

Politico quoted another GOP senator, who declined to be named, trashing DeMint specifically and calling him a "big loser." "It's like you're on the five-yard line ready to score and the quarterback calls the play and some member of your team tackles one of your members and keeps you from scoring," the senator said. "We came tantalizingly close to a majority."

But DeMint pushed back on that criticism Sunday, telling NBC's "Meet the Press" that the GOP should crediting the tea party for its gains last week. "I think [tea party activists] made a huge difference in the election," DeMint said. Asked about Christine O'Donnell, whom he and Palin endorsed against party pick Mike Castle in Delaware, DeMint insisted she couldn't have won because she was "so maligned" by other Republicans. "She didn't have a chance," he said.

Gibbs threatens to pull Obama from India talks after press dispute

Press Secretary Robert Gibbs is known for sparring with White House reporters, making for what often seems an antagonistic mood in the press briefing room.

But during President Obama's trip to India, Gibbs assumed the role of press advocate and threatened to pull Obama out of bilateral talks with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh because three U.S. reporters were blocked from covering the meeting.

Indian officials would let only five reporters into Hyderabad House in New Delhi instead of the agreed-upon eight.

The Washington Post's Scott Wilson—who was on White House pool duty Monday and filed the report for the White House press corps—wrote that "Gibbs announced loudly and persistently on steps of Hyderabad House that he would pull" President Obama out of the meeting "unless 'the White House 8,' as we've come to be known, were all allowed in."

As the discussion continued, Gibbs grew more animated.

"At one point, Gibbs literally had his foot lodged in the closing front door, asking if the Indian security officials pushing hard to shut it were going to break his foot," Wilson continued. "More angry words ensued, and after Gibbs convinced them, through high volume and repetition, that he was serious" about pulling Obama, the press secretary had the security retinue's full attention.
Gibbs' intervention worked: The Indian officials eventually allowed the full American press delegation into the event, along with a larger group of Indian reporters.

It's Time To Put The Republican Establishment's Collective Feet To The Fire And Hold Them There! While Tuesday was a great start for Constitutionalism and for Conservative America, it truly is just the beginning. Because what we learned from that election cycle was that not only are progressives out to destroy the very foundation America was built on, but that the Republican Establishment is not interested backing candidates set on in a more conservative America, even if those candidates are right on the issues, They are more interested in a "Republican" win, even if it means a RINO (or worse, a democrat posing as a Republican, can you say Charlie Crist ) gets endorsed. Talk about a Party without Principle! So yes folks, we need to continue cultivating and supporting candidates who are on the right side of the issues. That's the only way we get our country back. So people like Karl Rove, possibly Michael Steele, Newt Gingrich, Trent Lott, John McCain, et al need to go back into the woods from whence the came and leave America alone. Their style of politics, the politics of enabling, have no place in American politics any longer. The sooner they get that message, the sooner they understand it, the better off we'll all be.

At the climax of the 1977 film Star Wars, hero Luke Skywalker destroys the evil Empire’s dreaded Death Star. The Rebellion’s celebration, however, is short-lived. The movie series’ next installment, The Empire Strikes Back, depicts the Empire’s use of its still vastly superior weaponry and manpower to reassert its authority.

In the 2010-midterm elections, the tea party movement has played the role of the Rebellion. But the Empire is not played by the Democrats. It’s true that the Democrat-controlled federal government was resoundingly defeated in the November 2nd general election, but that loss, unlike the destruction of the Death Star, was not a surprise. The real blindside was the tea party’s dismantling of the Republican Establishment throughout the primary season.

It started with the little-known Marco Rubio knocking off the NRSC-backed, popular governor Charlie Crist. Two weeks after Crist bolted the party, Utah Senator Bob Bennett became the first incumbent to fall to a more conservative candidate. Later in the summer Alaska’s Joe Miller defeated liberal incumbent Lisa Murkowski. Tea party favorites won in Colorado, Wisconsin, Nevada and West Virginia. The final shock to the Establishment was Christine O’Donnell’s win over sitting Delaware Congressman Mike Castle.

The O’Donnell race was the last straw. It was one thing for the tea party to obstruct the Democrats and resurrect the Republican Party, but another matter entirely for the tea party candidates to actually defeat Establishment favorites. The night of the Delaware Primary, Karl Rove trashed O’Donnell and the voters who elected her.

O’Donnell’s case is a special one because the Castle loss was the most crushing to the Establishment. Castle was set to walk into the office — it didn’t matter that he favored Cap and Trade and resisted calls to repeal ObamaCare, he had an “R” next to his name. A Castle win was part of the Establishment’s master plan.

Thus the fiercest backlash was saved for the Delaware race. It leaked that the NRSC would not support O’Donnell. NRSC leader John Cornyn quickly denied the report, a promised $42,000 in campaign aid. As the campaign progressed, the American Spectator’s Jeffery Lord reported that the NRSC and Karl Rove’s American Crossroads, though awash in cash, refused to spend money on O’Donnell’s Senate bid.

As the election drew to a close, Rove sought to make it clear just what conservatives ought to learn from the Delaware race. He told Fox’s Megyn Kelly, “It gave me no pleasure to say that she was unlikely to win. But this again provides a lesson. This is a candidate who was right on the issues, but who had mishandled a series of questions brought up by the press.”

Rove wanted conservatives to relearn what the Establishment has been trumpeting since Barry Goldwater’s 1964 failed presidential run. The lesson is that all candidates must meet Establishment approval or they are sure to lose. While election-winners from Reagan to Rubio have proven the theory false, if O’Donnell can become a new generation’s Goldwater, then the Establishment can use her race to regain the control lost during the 2010 primaries.

Beyond firing warning shots about conservatives’ choice of candidates, the Establishment has repeatedly sought to undermine Alaska’s Joe Miller and help incumbent Senator (and confidante of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell) Lisa Murkowski. After Murkowski began a write-in campaign against the Republican nominee, the Senate Republicans refused to strip her of her Senate leadership positions, lending credence to her campaign. In the final days before the vote, the NRSC’s ads exclusively attacked the hopelessly-behind Democrat Scott McAdams, thus pushing McAdams voters to support the next-most liberal candidate, Murkowski.

Not content to target only the candidates on the ballot, the Establishment is attacking those on the inside who reject the insider mentality. Former Governor Sarah Palin and South Carolina Senator Jim DeMint (each instrumental in redefining and organizing the conservative majority within the once-lifeless Republican Party) confronted the Establishment throughout the 2010 primary season. DeMint, against the advice of his Senate colleagues, was the first U.S. Senator to back the remarkable Marco Rubio. Palin was the most active political figure in the Republican primaries, shining bright lights on conservative candidates from all over the country (most of whom won their races).

DeMint and Palin were wildly successful, but both are under fierce attack because their actions opposed the Establishment’s conventional thinking. Fox News reports that a bevy of unnamed senior Senate aides lashed out at DeMint for his primary endorsements. One aide described DeMintnt’s conventional thinking. One aide described DeMint as “the undertaker, not the kingmaker.” Quintessential Establishment Republicans Lindsey Graham and Trent Lott proclaimed that DeMint and Palin cost the GOP dearly in the Senate.

These Establishment criticisms ignore the fundamental reality that without the movement of which DeMint and Palin were a part, the Republicans had no identity. Without the tea party and its favorite candidates the GOP is a group of Charlie Crists, rudderless vote-chasers who, as Rubio correctly stated, are unable to provide a clear alternative to the Obama agenda.

With a 60-seat drubbing in the House and a six-seat pick-up in the Senate (seven if you factor in that Crist became a Democrat), it’s a wonder that the Establishment, whose stated purpose is to put as many “R’s” in office as possible, finds anything to complain about. That question has vexed conservatives for a generation. Why fight conservative candidates when the Ronald Reagan model is more successful than the John McCain/Bob Dole/George H. W. Bush model? The answer is control.

The Establishment attitude is another form of central planning, in this case political planning instead of economic. The great economist Frederick von Hayek was once asked why so many academics rejected the free market in favor of central direction. Hayek responded: “I think it’s…an intellectual attraction of a system you can deliberately control, which is fascinating to the intellectual.” For Rove, Graham and others it’s not just winning, but winning with their plan. The Power Of God; Angels, Miracles and Heroes

This is a story about courage, about honor, about commitment, it's about your military, our military. It is a true story. Do you believe angels live among us on this earth? Do you believe in miracles? Perhaps you will after you read this story...

A documentary was aired on the Military Channel a while back. It was about a military convoy in Afghanistan that was ambushed. One Humvee was hit by an RPG. The rocket - approximately two to three feet long - lost a portion of it's warhead, pierced the door of the Humvee, entered the body of one of the soldiers in the Humvee through his pelvic area, and lodged in his leg. But it didn't explode. Now picture that before you continue.

With every military convoy sent out on a mission, a medic is assigned to accompany them. After this attack, the medic, who normally travels towards the rear of the convoy, was called up to see what could be done to attend the wound this soldier received. When the medic (just a young kid really) arrived, , it took him a few seconds to wrap his mind around what his eyes were seeing - a live RPG embedded in, and protruding from, the leg of this young soldier. The immediate reaction was to get as many soldiers away from the area as possible in case the warhead exploded, and then to assess the actions that were required, if any, to aid the stricken soldier. It's my understanding that according to the field manual, in situations like the one explained here ..... well let's just say that the unit may not have followed the field manual instructions exactly.
The injured soldier was awake and oriented. And although their fellow soldier was now considered "a live explosive" he was their "brother". So slowly, ever so gingerly, they extricated him from the Humvee, all the while knowing the rocket could explode.

After discussion with his fellow soldiers, the medic called for a medivac helicopter. They all decided they would accept the repercussions that came with their decision, if any, but that they could not leave their wounded buddy behind.

The medic called for the chopper, alerting it only that they had a wounded soldier who was hit by a rocket. Obviously the medivac chopper hit the skies. When the chopper requested the squad's position, it was provided but with allowance for distance away from their "live explosive".

Once the chopper was down, the medic informed the pilot that there was more to the story than he had been told. The medic then explained the condition of the fallen soldier. The two men walked toward the injured soldier. The chopper pilot discussed the situation with his crew and all agreed they would attempt to fly the wounded soldier out for treatment. The captain looked at each crew member in turn, and each of them unerringly stared back.They placed their lives in God's hands.

Gingerly they got the injured soldier aboard the chopper, and eased it into the air. Back towards the base they flew. While in the air they contacted the base and informed them that they had a wounded soldier who had been hit by a rocket.
The chopper arrived and lightly touched down. The pilot dismounted once again and approached the surgeon, a Major. The pilot informed the doctor that the wounded soldier was alive, awake and oriented, with a live rocket lodged in his leg.
The doctor informed his staff what the situation was. He explained that he had decided he would attempt to remove the RPG from the wounded soldier but that he did not expect any of his staff to put their lives in any more danger than that in which they had already been placed. He told them all that he would not think any less of them if they left. Astonishingly, once again, not one member of his team made a move to leave.

During surgery there was minimal talking. It was as if every member of the team intuitively knew what the other needed or wanted. Eventually, through the skill of the surgeon and his team, the rocket, still with a partial live warhead intact, was removed from the soldiers leg. Now what to do with it?

At some point during this whole process, the bomb tech was informed by the surgeon of the situation and had stationed himself inside the operating room.
Apparently, a some distance away was a drop off. They intended to throw the rocket over the edge to get rid of it. It was "the long brown mile" as they walked towards the cliff. The RPG was tossed ... and exploded!
So tell me, do you believe in angels? Do you believe in miracles? Do you believe in heroes? Do you believe in God? The Humvee door, the stricken soldier, the convoy squad, the chopper unit, the medical team, the bomb tech. At any time that RPGcould have been jarred sufficiently to cause it to explode. But it didn't. It didn't explode until it was safely into the pit in which it was thrown. I believe...

The story is about Channing Moss, who was impaled by a live RPG during a Taliban ambush while on patrol. Army protocol says that medivac choppers are never to carry anyone with a live round in him. Even though they feared it could explode, the flight crew said damn the protocol and flew him to the nearest aid station. Again, protocol said that in such a case the patient is to be put in a sandbagged area away from the surgical unit, given a shot of morphine and left to wait (and die) until others are treated. Again, the medical team ignored the protocol. Here's a short video put together by the Military Times, which includes actual footage of the surgery where Dr. John Oh, a Korean immigrant who became a naturalized citizen and went to West Point , removed the live round with the help of volunteers and a member of the EOD (explosive ordinance disposal) team. Moss has undergone six operations but is doing well at home in Gainesville , GA. I think you'll find the video absolutely remarkable.

Here's my first post ever on this Blog - less than 17 months ago. Nice to see I was on the same page with so many other pariots; all of us seeing the need to Vote Them Out! Well done everyone! But we still have some issues to clean up. What do you think?

Our Congress - Who's In Charge

Government OF the people, FOR the people, BY the people... So how has it happened then, that over the years, our "elected" officials felt they had the right to vote themselves so many perks? And why, in this age of instant electronic information, can't our congressmen - senators and representatives - poll us on what our positions are relative to the various issues that come up? Why do we continue to fund with tax dollars a Health Care System for our government officials that far exceeds anything that is provided for the citizenry? And if we allow Obama to force a new government health care system, will our elected officials be required to abide by that same system? If not, then why would we allow them to vote to provide us with a system far inferior to their own? Most national politicians receive salaries of less than $200,000.00 per year. However, they also have voted themselves a yearly allowance of over $1,000,000 per year. They also have expense accounts, and who knows what other monetary perks. How do you think they've all become millionaires? Which leads me to... Term Limits! We need to insist on term limits, thereby limiting power and corruption. Lifelong politicians lose sight of "real" life. Contact your reps and senators - ensure they understand your insistence. Make sure they understand that you will vote them out if they do not uphold your will. They've voted themselves a fantastic retirement package as well. They get life-long salary after they retire. How many of you can look forward to that? What makes them more special than you? How many Americans do you think authorized that vote? Remember, they are accountable to us, so why is it that they do what they want? Because there have been no repercussions until now. They've always felt untouchable - especially those that have been in for a long time and have built a strong base by providing favors to special interest groups and specific lobbies. Time to vote them out and get someone in there that will provide Americans with documentation of all the abuse that's gone on over the past 40 years! Why do you think that in this age of computers, email accessible cell phones, Ipods, etc our elected officials have not thought to poll us on what we think about the issues they vote on? Because they don't care what we think. They are looking to the next special interest group that will give them money. They're looking to the next deal they can do as a quid pro quo to a deal they want consummated. They are in a world of their own, all with large egos to feed, with no concern for the citizenry. Another reason we need term limits. How many of you have bought a house, or entered into a lease without reading the contract(s)? I would venture to say not many. How then can congress pass bills (regularly according to Bob Beckel, Washington Insider) without reading what's contained within them? That is INSANE!!! Which leads me to... Pork. I love pork, but not in Congressional bills. I believe that every issue/item contained within, or facet of, a bill be voted on separately - to pass or fail on it's own merits. THAT will stop the pork - especially if we demand that every vote be published and sent out to every voter so we know how our individual reps/senators voted. That is accountability! And how many people do we need to provide entitlements to? What happened to our ability to take care of those around us if necessary? Wasn't that the role of the church at one time? Isn't it still? Aren't we a charitable people on our own? Why then do we need government to take our money and distribute it as they see fit? And this leads me finally to... Spending. It's OUR money they are spending. How many times have you been asked for your input on what Washington should spend our taxes on? Hmmmm - NEVER!!!! And yet, they spend and spend - without a thought for what will result next year, next decade, next generation! But someone has to. That is where we come in. Insist on your congressmen doing your will, not theirs. If they refuse - VOTE THEM OUT! It's that simple. But it takes an active role on your part. You must educate yourselves on the issues, and where your congressmen stand. You must notify your congressmen of your stand on the issues. You must watch how your congressmen vote. And most of all you must go to the polls - to remove those that do not abide by your will!

Obama acknowledges his message didn't get through

WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama is acknowledging in the wake of this week's election rout that he hasn't been able to successfully promote his economic-rescue message to anxious Americans.

Obama says in an interview with CBS's "60 Minutes" that he "stopped paying attention" to the leadership style he displayed during his run for the presidency.

Obama also said he recognizes now that "leadership is not just legislation," and that "it's a matter of persuading people. And giving them confidence and bringing them together. And setting a tone. And making an argument that people can understand."

"And I think that - we haven't always been successful at that," he said. "And I take personal responsibility for that. And it's something that I've got to examine closely as I go forward."

The president recorded the interview, to be broadcast in full with CBS's Steve Kroft on Sunday night, before leaving on a 10-day trip to Asia.

Obama said that's the response he's giving to "some of my Democratic supporters who express some frustration."

Obama's Democratic Party lost control of the House in Tuesday's midterm elections, as Republicans picked up a net gain of at least 60 seats, setting up a more divided government — or shared governance — in January, depending on the extent to which the two parties can reach accommodation on such vexing issues as the economy, energy, immigration, education and the war in Afghanistan.

Democrats had held sway in both the House and Senate since the 2006 election. The balloting Tuesday also puts House Republican Leader John Boehner of Ohio into position to be the next speaker, succeeding California Democrat Nancy Pelosi. Rep. Eric Cantor, R-Va., seems set to take position of House majority leader.

Democrats did retain control of the Senate, although their majority margin has been substantially decreased.

A New Historical Age Has Dawned

Many people still don't get it. They think what happened Tuesday was simply an aberration, something on a par with the "perfect storm" where three hurricanes came together to form one huge storm in the Atlantic years ago. They think it will never occur again. That it can't occur again. What they fail to realize I think, is that millions of people actually know, and understand, the scope of the challenges facing America, and they understand how we got here. And they know too that the socialistic policies that have prevailed over the past 50 years, minor though they were at first, have contributed mightily to where we find ourselves today. So, no, we are not going away. For the first time in my lifetime, I, and many, many like me, actually feel the power our founders entrusted to us through the Constitution. We the People are the government, and the government will listen to us. Period. None of us, numbering in the 10's of millions (perhaps hundreds of millions as the movement continues to grow), are willingly going to stand down. We will continue to expect much from those we send to Washington, or we will replace them. No longer will there be career politicians pandering to specific constituencies in direct opposition to others, just to get a vote. Over time, through firing, retiring and dying, we will replace them all.

Inaction, Lack Of Committed Effort, And Poor Results Will Not Be Tolerated

We can accept nothing but 100% effort on our behalf from the 112th Congress. To that end I have sent the folowing letter to Mitch McConnell, Jim DeMint, Marco Rubio, John Boehner, Bill Posey and Allan West. I hope you will take the time to contact your Senators and Representatives outlining your expectations, and a timetable for the same. Do not believe a word of "we aren't about bigger government, we were in crisis, we were working underemergency circumstances." That's the new mantra out today. Beware, and be very, very weary.

Dear Senator McConnell,

As evidenced on Tuesday, there are millions upon millions of Americans who will not accept politics as usual in America any longer. Unfortunately, I have already heard some talk that the position that Republicans are taking relative to the issue of repealing Obamacare is disingenuous. I’m hearing there may be no desire or intent to take that action. While I understand that President Obama has veto power over that issue, and it will be difficult to accomplish, I also understand that there are a number of Democrats (and perhaps RINO’s) who will be seeking re-election to the Senate in 2012. The American people will help to put pressure on them to vote for repeal provided you make those names available to us. While I have the time to look that information up, others may not. How sincere are you in wanting to play hardball to fix America? IF you are sincere, you will out ALL those who will not vote for repeal. It’s that simple.

The 112th Congress has a superbly unique opportunity to accomplish some outstanding, truly historical, actions to preserve American Liberty. That opportunity has been given to Congress by the voting will of the American public. As you are a Republican, although I do not know expressly, I am hoping that you truly want that for our country as well.

So let me be clear. Should the Republican House fail to defund Obamacare on day one of the 112th Congressional session, and should the Senate fail to repeal what can be repealed, prevent intrusion of government healthcare into society through "deals" on other bills, and then not repeal it in it's entirety by 2012 when a Constitution-Oriented President will be elected, then what happened last Tuesday will look tame compared to who we fire in 2012 and then 2014 if necessary! The SOLE message you should get out of Tuesday’s results is this: SMALLER GOVERNMENT!!

That will cure many of the ills facing America, whether you are willing to admit it or not. So help us get government out of our lives! Repeal acts/legislation/executive orders that intrude into them. Don’t support new ones that are introduced! Create a plan, and begin the process to dissolve Agencies and Departments that were created by the government over the past 80 years, but which they had no Constitutional authority to create! I am sending this letter to John Boehner as well, although I have already written to him once. And to Jim DeMint, though I have already written to him as well.

I expect you are getting many emails from the American people. And I’m sure that will continue over the next two years. Your ability to act on behalf of the American people will largely determine the tone of those emails. You, and the Republican majority in the House, have your work cut out for you. You have many, many unpopular decisions to make, and actions to take. To be successful, you will need to affectively communicate the reasons for those actions so that even those affected can understand the logic behind them. And although they may not be popular or liked, they will be accepted. We have no choice. The government has not served us well; in fact they have done us a great disservice! Your Congress – the 112th – has been chosen to right those wrongs. History will ultimately judge how well you do, but We The People will also be judging. Communicate well, and start the process today!

Op-Ed: Welcome, Senate Conservatives

Congratulations to all the tea party-backed candidates who overcame a determined, partisan opposition to win their elections. The next campaign begins today. Because you must now overcome determined party insiders if this nation is going to be spared from fiscal disaster.

Many of the people who will be welcoming the new class of Senate conservatives to Washington never wanted you here in the first place. The establishment is much more likely to try to buy off your votes than to buy into your limited-government philosophy. Consider what former GOP senator-turned-lobbyist Trent Lott told the Washington Post earlier this year: "As soon as they get here, we need to co-opt them."

Don't let them. Co-option is coercion. Washington operates on a favor-based economy and for every earmark, committee assignment or fancy title that's given, payback is expected in return. The chits come due when the roll call votes begin. This is how big-spending bills that everyone always decries in public always manage to pass with just enough votes.

But someone can't be bribed if they aren't for sale. Here is some humble advice on how to recognize and refuse such offers.

First, don't request earmarks. If you do, you'll vote for legislation based on what's in it for your state, not what's best for the country. You will lose the ability to criticize wasteful spending. And, if you dare to oppose other pork-barrel projects, the earmarkers will retaliate against you.

In 2005, Sen. Tom Coburn (R., Okla.) offered a measure to kill funding for the infamous "Bridge to Nowhere." Before the vote, Sen. Patty Murray (D., Wash.), an appropriator, issued a warning on the Senate floor.

"If we start cutting funding for individual projects, your project may be next," she said. "When Members come down to the floor to vote on this amendment, they need to know if they support stripping out this project, Senator Bond [a Republican appropriator] and I are likely to be taking a long, serious look at their projects to determine whether they should be preserved during our upcoming conference negotiations."

The threat worked. Hardly anyone wanted to risk losing earmarks. The Senate voted 82-15 to protect funding for the Bridge to Nowhere.

Second, hire conservative staff. The old saying "personnel is policy" is true. You don't need Beltway strategists and consultants running your office. Find people who share your values and believe in advancing the same policy reforms. Staff who are driven by conservative instincts can protect you from unwanted, outside influences when the pressure is on.

Third, beware of committees. Committee assignments can be used as bait to make senators compromise on other matters. Rookie senators are often told they must be a member of a particular committee to advance a certain piece of legislation. This may be true in the House, but a senator can legislate on any matter from the Senate floor.

Fourth, don't seek titles. The word "Senator" before your name carries plenty of clout. All senators have the power to object to bad legislation, speak on the floor and offer amendments, regardless of how they are ranked in party hierarchy.

Lastly, don't let your re-election become more important than your job. You've campaigned long and hard for the opportunity to go to Washington and restore freedom in America. People will try to convince you to moderate conservative positions and break campaign promises, all in the name of winning the next race. Resist the temptation to do so. There are worse things than losing an election—like breaking your word to voters.

At your swearing-in ceremony, you will, as all senators do, take an oath to "support and defend the Constitution." Most will fail to keep their oath. Doing these five things will help you maintain a focus on national priorities and be one who does.

Congress will never fix entitlements, simplify the tax code or balance the budget as long as members are more concerned with their own narrow, parochial interests. Time spent securing earmarks and serving personal ambitions is time that should be spent working on big-picture reforms.

When you are in Washington, remember what the voters back home want—less government and more freedom. Millions of people are out of work, the government is going bankrupt and the country is trillions in debt. Americans have watched in disgust as billions of their tax dollars have been wasted on failed jobs plans, bailouts and takeovers. It's up to us to stop the spending spree and make sure we have a government that benefits America instead of being a burden to it.

Tea party Republicans were elected to go to Washington and save the country—not be co-opted by the club. So put on your boxing gloves. The fight begins today.

Look In The Mirror

Most of the election results have been called. And when you look at the map you see a sea of Red. Americans have rejected progressive socialism and embraced more conservative values, principles and values. But what struck me was that once again New England and the West Coast find themselves outside the mainstream of America. And I wonder why that is. I was born and raised in Massachusetts. Like me, I know there are many, many people there who have conservative values. And yet election after election people like Barney Frank, Moonbeam Brown and Barbara Boxer get elected.

So what do the people voting for these progressive leaches see when they look in the mirror? Do they see someone who is smarter than the rest of the country? Do they see someone who has a superiority complex? How can they look in the mirror and say, all those millions of Americans across the country are wrong and I am right. At what point do they say, maybe it's me, maybe I'm the one who's wrong. Maybe I need to change.

It's so disappointing that most of us can predict exactly how New England and the West Coast will vote, it's always blue! Look in the mirror Massachusetts! Look in the mirror New England! Look in the mirror California and Washington! Maybe the person staring back at you is wrong after all. You need to change!
